6 months with Kins and It’s truly flown by! I love this age so much….she is so fun, happy, and chill and I really feel beyond lucky with this babe. I just cannot get enough of her. Here is a little update on her schedule and routine.

8:00-9:00am: floor + tummy time
9:30-11:00am: nap #1
11:00am-1:00pm: play, walk, errands, etc. + 6-8 oz bottle
1:00-2:00pm: nap #2
2:00-4:00pm: play, pick Quinn up from school, etc. + 6-8 oz bottle
4:00/4:30-5:00pm: cat nap (30 minutes usually)
5:00-6:30pm: solids, bath, books
7:00pm: 6-8 oz bottle + bed
Sleep:
Kinsley typically sleeps from 7:00pm-7ish am and I’m SO thankful for this! Sleep is so so important to me, so I try to be very diligent with her schedule and limit her day time sleep to 3-3.5 hours. Sometimes I hear her fussing around 5am but let her fall back asleep because that’s an unacceptable wake time! However, Quinn has started waking up around 5am some mornings and having night wake ups, but luckily she only wants my husband 😉
We are loving this sleep sack and she sleeps mostly on her tummy now that she is rolling all over the place.
Eating:
I officially stopped pumping! Phew! My goal was 6 months and I’m so proud of myself for making it this long because I wanted to quit so many times. Right now she takes about 25-30 oz of milk a day. We are using Bobbi formula and she is tolerating it well and I give her one breast milk bottle a day (while I have a frozen stash).
We just introduced solids! She is super interested in food. I’m starting with purees as I talked to her pediatrician about this and just placed an order for Little Spoon deliveries. I purchased this baby led weaning course and plan to start trying to incorporate BLW when she is sitting up more independently and a little older (my chocking anxiety is high!) I’m offering solids in the evening so she can eat with Quinn and make it a fun experience. I plan to add in solids after her morning bottle soon as we work up to offering solids 2-3 x day.
We went with this high chair and so far really like it.
