I think we can all agree that it is SO fun to cruise the Tarder Joe’s aisles stock up on all the unique products they carry. I can be a little picky about what I put in my cart at TJ’s and I’m always checking the ingredients labels. Sure, I throw in some fun things here and there for the kids that don’t check all the nutrition boxes, but for the most part I try to stick to the more simple ingredient lists when it comes to the snack foods I’m buying for the house. Here are some current favorite snacks I’m buying on repeat from Trader Joe’s. Drop your favorites that I missed in the comments section!
Organic Seedy Crackers
These are a Mary’s Gone Crackers dupe I love. Simple and clean ingredients that taste good.
Olive Oil Popcorn
I can’t find it on their site, but they carry a popcorn that has just 3 ingredients: popcorn, olive oil, and sea salt.
Tzatziki Dip
I know it’s been around, but it’s new to me. So yummy with crackers or veggies.
Papadums Lentil and Chickpea Crisps
Simple ingredients and taste great dipped in hummus or the tzatziki sauce above.
Rice Cake Thins
I linked the dark chocolate covered ones because I can’t find the plain ones on their website, but I know they carry in store. I get the plain rice cake thins and will add nut butter or avocado for a snack.
Chomps
The best meat stick around. I usually load up on them when I’m at Trader Joe’s, but you can also stock up at Costco. I like the original beef flavor. 10 grams protein and no sugar- win win.
Organic Roasted Seaweed
They come in individual packets and make the best snack. Good source of iodine and other vitamins and minerals. I can’t get my kids to eat it, but props if you can 😉
Olive & Herbs Mixed Nuts
I obviously love and stock up on all my basic nuts and seeds from TJ’s, but I especially love the salty/savory flavor of this mix. It’s not one of those nut mixes you can really over do because a serving size is very satisfying. It has a little added sugar, but other than that I like the ingredient list.
Overnight Oats
This can make a great snack option (not just for breakfast). They carry a few different flavors and also switch it up seasonally, but most include a good source of protein and fat. You can up the protein even more but adding in protein powered, Greek yogurt, or nut butter. You can also easily add your own granola, fruit, chia seeds, etc to enhance the snack.
Just a Handful of Pitted Salted Manzanilla Olives
Kinsley is my salty and savory snack girly, so I began stocking up on these packets because of her. They are so good and I quickly started to join her in snacking on these olives. They make a great and filling snack with their healthy fat content.
