Happy Hour
Heather can you link those tan slides you've been wearing around the house? They look so comfy! Yes they are legit shower shoes I think.. but I wear them all the time and have definitely worn them to Target and the grocery store, too! These are the ones I have but also dig these in white! Any good Amazon purchases recently? Always in the mood to *add to cart! Same girl. I have added so … [Read more...]
Back to School Lunch Ideas + Supplies
Quinn doesn't start school until 9/9...like what?! Sooo late...basically Christmas break, but many of your kids are back to school and you're back to packing lunches. I've had many requests from moms who are packing lunches for the first time asking for tips, tricks, and meal ideas! I've got you! I encourage you to think about packing your kiddos lunch with the same mindset that you … [Read more...]
Back to School: with the boys
I keep seeing all these cute kiddos heading back to the classroom on social media and feel like my boys start so late?! We don't go back for another week but that doesn't mean we aren't READY! All of us. Ready for routine and structure after a loosey goosey summer. It's been one of our funnest summer's to date but I can't wait for all things fall, p patches, flannels, beanies, and most of all … [Read more...]
Happy Hour
sweatshirt | joggers | slippers What are your favorite brand of jeans: splurge and save options! Right now, my favorite brand of jeans are Agolde and Levis (my tried and true ride or die). I'd say Levi's are my save option and wouldn't get ones any cheaper because they're just not quality and you'll end up tossing them at some point. Always size up in Levis as they have zero give. I got the … [Read more...]
Kinsley’s 2 Month Update + BabyDocBox Review Months 2-4
Schedule: Kins in on a loose eat, wake, sleep schedule. Her wake window is between 60-90 minutes right now. I'm trying to not let her get more than 4-5 hours of day sleep and she is going down around 7:30-8:00pm at night. I find the routine of bath, bottle, and book helps her get that last wake window when she's real tired from the day. Sleep: We recently moved her into her room and … [Read more...]
Last Call for Summer // In My Cart
It's still SO SO hot here in the Pacific Northwest and this is why we get so ready for fall and sweaters and boots and beanies. It's just too much to handle! Your two California girls are officially Seattlites.. it took 10 years but here we are. Ready for fall. And colder weather. But because we have another month of warmth and I can't even stomach the thought of putting on a jacket right now, … [Read more...]
Happy Hour
What are some fall trends you're looking forward to? Any good splurge items? Can't wait to bust out my new leather jacket, oversized flannels, booties, and beanies. Splurge always on a leather jacket or winter coat..something that will never go out of style no matter what! Alix do you plan to do sleep training with Kinsley? Is there a method you use or plan to use? I won't formally … [Read more...]
How I Found My Mom Community
shirt | shorts | slides I was motivated to write this post today because I've been blown away how my mom community has shown up and been there for me throughout the years, but even more since having Kinsley. From dropping off food, flowers, and wine on my doorstep, to helping with carpooling to and from camps and playdates for Quinn, to just simple text check-in's... it has all been so … [Read more...]
Weekend Recap: Life with a tiny tyrant
The last 7 days have been one for the books. And not the good chapters. The messy, exhausting, I'm gonna lose my sh*t type of ones. And I hate feeling that way.. I hate feeling like I am not being present in the moment, or not enjoying every second of this beautiful weather, or just this overall "blah" of the monotony of our days. Granted, this past week none of the boys had camp so they were home … [Read more...]
