Happy New Year! While I’m not a big fan of the whole ”new year new me” thing, I do like to reflect on the previous year and see what worked and what needs to be adjusted. If something went well, but there is room to continue to progress then I like to build on to the previous year’s intention.
To help you brainstorm some intentions for 2025 I thought I would put together a list of healthy habits you can try implementing into your routine if it seems like something that would benefit you. Not everyone of these habits will speak to you and that’s OK. Take what you like and leave what you don’t. If all off these habits seem overwhelming then read my blog post on how to start a new routine and habit stacking first.

Make your bed daily
Take a daily walk
Prioritize water intake
7-8 hours of sleep
10 minutes of stretching or mobility work daily
Cut back on booze
Get your labs checked
Supplement with only necessary vitamins and minerals
Read more books
Cut out toxic people
Add more fiber to your diet
Drink a calming beverage before bed
Take magnesium before bed
Heat exposure like sauna or hot bath
Fuel before exercise. No fasted workouts
Cook and eat at home more
SPF daily
Unfollow social media accounts that make you feel bad about yourself
Strength train 3-4 x week
No phone at least 30 minutes before bed
Include protein with every meal and snack
Reduce added sugar intake
Wash/change your pillow case at least once a week
Schedule the girls trips
Start a new hobby
