My 40th Birthday Weekend Recap
It finally happened. I turned 40 last week and spent a few days celebrating and relaxing in Palm Springs with my husband. We flew out very early (hello 6am flight) Thursday morning on my birthday which was nice because we got to the hotel at 10:30am just in time for breakfast before hitting the pool. We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage. We stayed here for Kinsley’s baby moon a few years … [Read more...]

I typically like to sauna first thing after a morning workout before tackling the to do list as I find it really … [Read more...]
10 Beauty Products I Discovered Through TikTok
Mason Pearson Brush Dupe 2024 is the year of hair health for me and my TikTok is full of influencers touting their healthy hair finds and apparently, the Mason Pearson brush is elite in the comunity touting boar and nylon bristles. Now, I don’t plan to spend $175 on a HAIR BRUSH and luckily a lot of these Tokers aren’t either. There are a few dupes on the market but the Oribe one is allegedly … [Read more...]
Home Decor Do’s and Dont’s: 4 Things Making Your House Look Tacky
Ok the word tacky is a little harsh but I couldn’t come up with a better hook. I might get some flack for this post because yes, I think you should decorate your house ANY WAY YOU WANT. I believe the same goes for clothing so take this all with a grain of salt. And I am absolutely 100% guilty of decorating my own home with some of these things in the past. But on the flip side, I follow a lot of … [Read more...]
Heather’s Recent Sephora Haul
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum - I use this after I prime and mix it with the Illuminator drops for a hydrated and glowy base. Makeup By Mario eyeliner in soft brown - I have moved away from dark, black eyeliner as brown accentuates my eyes/eye color in a softer way. Makeup By Mario foundation - I reach for this one as it doesn’t feel cakey or heavy. It’s full coverage but is light on the … [Read more...]
