I rotate between a couple of different drug store mascaras (that rival the brand names) but I was told I needed to try Selena’s Rare Beauty mascara as it lasts all day, doesn’t run, and is only $20. It was worth the hype and provides so much volume to my lashes. It also comes in a mini version if you wanted to give it a test run first.
This has been on my list of faves before but I have just recently started using CE again after taking some time off. The reason being that the E oil in CE has sometimes made me break out in the past. This CE serum is also on the pricier side so when my esthetician at Sapien Skin gave me a sample after my last facial, I was hooked again. I also take Spironolactone for hormonal acne so I haven’t been breaking out at all and felt it was safe to start incorporating this power C serum back into my routine. Some say it stinks but I don’t notice anything. Not all C serums are created equal and Skinceuticals makes one of the best you can get your hands on. I make sure to always bring this serum down to my chest as that is where the majority of my damage remains.
I’m on a hair journey. I had extensions all of last year and while I absolutely loved them and won’t swear them off forever, they definitely damaged my already thin hair. I’ve been incorporating scalp masks, oils, and this K18 hair mask once a week (when I wash my hair). You wash your hair with shampoo only, towel dry your hair, and apply three pumps of the K18 mask (after emulsifying it in your hands) for 4 minutes. Then you can brush out your hair (don’t rinse it out) and apply other products and style as usual. I have noticed it is so much shinier and thicker feeling after I started incorporating this mask into my weekly routine. Hopefully it’s slowly transforming my damaged hair and I’ll have luscious locks in a few months lol.
I know, Levi’s aren’t for everyone. But they are for me and my absolute favorite brand of jeans. They just fit my body type. I always get a high rise situation but the wide leg has been sold out for months and is finally back in stock. I bought myself a pair (true to size, but zero stretch) and I find the fit so flattering and modern. Skinny jeans are out, unfortunately, and we need to embrace the looser fit that’s here to stay. And you can’t beat the Levis price point.

I stumbled across this at a boutique shop in Friday Harbor over Thanksgiving. I didn’t buy right away, but kept thinking about how much I loved the scent. So a week later I bought it from Nordstrom and I’m obsessed. It’s such a clean every day scent that I’m very into right now.
Hear me out. When I got my first chocolate packet in a variety pack I think I threw it away. However, I recently experimented with it and have been obsessed with making hot chocolate in the evening. I only use half a packet then add 1 tsp of Blume hot chocolate mix and a splash of almond milk. It’s seriously so good and hits the spot when I’m wanting something sweet after dinner.
When I’m craving something warm on these chilly winter afternoons and clearly should not be drinking more coffee, I have started to reach for these bone broth packets. They have 10 grams of protein, very flavorful, and satisfy. I drink it just like I could a cup of tea. I’ve tried a few different bone broths and this is the easiest way for me to drink it regularly.
I wear hats all the time, year round. I have an extensive hat collection, but I can’t stop. I got two new ALO hats for Christmas and I love them both. I have this trucker style hat in pink and this one in all white. They look sleek, so with everything, and elevate a simple athleisure look.
