I hope you had a beautiful Easter weekend with loved ones! We flew to our Wisconsin house early yesterday morning to spend Spring Break with our extended family and just have a change of scenery! We have some things we need to get done around the house before we spend a big chunk of our summer back here and also enjoy the slower pace of life for the next week before school and sports ramp back up. But before we left, it was sports and activities galore so here’s a little recap of our jam packed weekend:
Started it off strong by meeting Alix at Yuan Spa in Kirkland for a little hydrotherapy (jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna) followed by massages. Her 40th is this week so we celebrated a little early as we are in Wisconsin and she heads to Palm Springs for a little relaxation!
If you haven’t been to Sweetgreen yet you are missing out! I get: kale/arugula, cabbage, carrot, cucumber, spicy broccoli, blackened chicken, crisy rice with spicy cashew dressing. Divine.
Took the big boys to the mall for some Sweet Factory treats and lunch wearing this Amazon scoop neck, jeans from Zara, and mules (similar).
Another day, another loaded salad.. this time from Evergreens. Spring mix, carrots, pickled onion, cucumber, tomato, parm, hard boiled egg, and steak with balsamic dressing.
Our Saturday was spent at the baseball field followed by back to back lacrosse games for the boys. Luckily we had nearly 60 degree sunny weather that gave everyone so much LIFE. Parents and kids were all so happy 🙂 Parker played T Ball last year at age 4 and it was honestly a disaster. He hated it. But this year is the sweet spot. His little team is so cute and athletic and he had the best time ever at his game and a little after party for the whole team. Proud of him for sticking with it even though he didn’t have a choice in the matter. You will play ball 😉
Headed to lacrosse games in sandals and sunnies.. the best. Top//Slides (these are the best Hermes d o o o o p I have found.. they come from England I think?? but legit so inexpensive and good quality)
Blessed with such good weather for a busy sports Saturday!
Britt took the boys to Monster Jam at Lumen field on Saturday night and it was probably top 3 nights of their life. They all absolutely LOVED it and want to go again next year. It’s hard to get Jackson excited about anything anymore because he’s turning into a tween but monster jam was the highlight of his life. He said it was better than the World Series and the Super Bowl lol.
My aunt always spoils me and the boys rotten every holiday and Easter was no different! She hooked them up! I got on the plane first and had the flight attendants help me put their easter boxes on their seats so when they got on they were surprised 🙂
Flew to our house back in Wisconsin all sugared up at 7:30 am. They are the easiest little travelers now and really only need us to set up their WiFi and they’re happy clams the whole way!
We’ll be spending the week back here enjoying some family time and lots of fishing off the dock for the boys. Really nothing like the slow pace of life sitting by a wood burning fire with coffee (am) and wine (pm) 😉
Hope you had a beautiful Easter and a good week ahead!
xx, H
