With Thanksgiving only a little over a week away, I thought I’d share some inspiration ideas to elevate your tablescape this year. It doesn’t need to be anything over the top and expensive.. adding candles, napkin rings, and glassware is the perfect way to accent your table.
I like to keep my napkins neutral so I can use them year round and spruce up the table with florals or a decorative centerpiece. Adding a napkin ring provides a personalized touch, too.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only time I bring out my fine China that was gifted to us for our wedding but there are so many other table settings you can find on a budget that would look just as beautiful for the holiday. Using a plain white plate with a round charger underneath adds dimension and class to your table. And of course, you need all the wine and cocktail glasses if it’s going to be a party (except here in WA cuz we’re on lockdown). Crate and Barrel is my favorite place to buy inexpensive but beautiful barware. I get compliments on my Edge Wine glasses every time I use them.

Now, let’s not forget about the kids! I plan to have a kids table next to our adult table with this tablecloth they can color on, these Bingo games, and festive paper plates.
I plan to be in boyfriend jeans and an oversized sweater for Thanksgiving.. gonna need that extra room 😉
Hope you have a fun and safe Thanksgiving with your closest loved ones! And if you’re in California, remember: no singing or chanting 😉
Cheers,
H
