Happy March 1st! Spring is on the horizon.. can you smell it?! Today’s post is another round of our favorites from the previous month.. everything we fell in love with in February 🙂

Heather and I are both obsessed with the Laneige Lip Mask so I was excited to also try their water sleeping mask. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and use 1-2x week. I definitely feel like it’s a great addition to my winter skincare routine and is helping keep my skin hydrated during these dry months!
Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer
Literally obsessed! Where has lash primer been all my life you guys?! I’m lucky and have always had naturally long and dark eyelashes, so mascara was something I never really spent too much time investing in. Recently I was noticing that my mascara was smudging immediately after I put it on and blinked. I was watching my girl Ashley do a make-up tutorial and she swore by this lash primer, so I figured I’d give it a go and SO glad I did!
I’ve been needing to up my “house shoe” game and I almost ordered these slippers that every blogger is obsessed with, but went with the ones pictured above instead. They took a few days to break in and I almost sent them back, but so glad I didn’t. I have been wearing them nonstop around the house and even ran after the UPS guy in them…very durable 😉
I’ve heard AMAZING things about this book and loved her last book The Nightingale. I started reading The Great Alone this month and I’m almost halfway through. Her books take me a while to get into, but once I hit the halfway mark I’m hooked! I plan to finish in Hawaii (hahaha I’ll be with my 2 year old so lazy poolside reads won’t be happening, but maybe during naps?!)

Arcona Cranberry Gommage Exfoliant
We recently had a girls night/book club outing and after discussing the book of the month (for 5 seconds) we were on to other topics.. one of the most important being skincare. Luckily for us our girl Kim, an aesthetician, was there and we asked her what is the one beauty product she can’t live without. Enter: this exfoliant. Why? It’s suitable for all skin types and even though the packaging says to use in AM, you can use it either morning or night (according to the gal at the Nordstrom makeup counter). Kim suggested doing your night routine, applying all of your serums, lotions, oils, etc and in the morning, cleansing with this exfoliant to buff/shine the skin. It leaves my skin feeling extra soft and very clean. Oh ya, and it smells divine.
Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask
Try not to make fun of me for this one.. although I know it’s hard with a picture like this 😉 But I actually find it hilarious to put it on at night and scare the sh*t out of my husband when he walks in the room. With dermatologist in-office acne technology, the Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask is a revolution in acne treatment. This face mask harnesses the power of clinically proven technology to clear acne and allow skin to heal itself. Here is how light therapy works: blue light targets acne-causing bacteria while red light reduces acne inflammation. After cleansing, put the mask on. Push the button and let it work for 10 minutes. You can sit back and relax until it automatically shuts off. I only use it when I feel acne coming on but you can use it everyday if needed! Only $30 at good ol Tarjay.
I got this one for under $11 on Amazon and have started incorporating it into my routine at night (after I apply my expensive serums and oil) because it basically does all the things. It improves blood circulation and skin tone, improves elasticity of the skin, promotes lymphatic drainage (where my Skinny Confidential girls at?!), reduces puffiness and wrinkles, and reduces under eye circles. Like I said: all the things. For cheap. Maybe I’ll do a more in depth post about the difference (or lack thereof) between the popular jade roller and rose quartz roller and how I incorporate them into my skincare routine.
Steve Madden Platform Slip Ons
I have wanted the Vince Warren platform slip ons for about a year now but I wasn’t about to drop $225 on a pair of suede sneakers in rainy Seattle. Luckily, my man Steve came to the rescue and copied the crap out of the Vince versions for only $80. Hello, gorgeous. My aunt was in town a couple of weekends ago and she and I both got these and love them! They take a minute to break in. But now they are super comfy and easy to throw on.
Fairly certain I’ve posted about my love for teddy coats in the past but my love fest continues, ok? So many good ones out there right now and many of them are on sale since Spring is coming. However, with it still being 32 degrees in Seattle (seriously look AWAY California.. you and your 65 degrees can go elsewhere!), I find myself putting on my big teddy coat more often than not. Cozy, comfortable, casual, cute. Get one.. here | here | here | here
Thanks for stopping by for this round of favorites! What are you loving this month? Maybe we’ll need to try it and feature it next month 🙂
xx, A&H
