It is the last week of February which means we are SO close to Spring and hopefully some warmer temps! At the end of every month I plan to roundup my favorite grocery store finds. These products might not necessarily be brand new, but they are new to me or something I’m super into! Hopefully you will also discover something new here that you might want to try and spice things up in your pantry.
BTW none of this is post is sponsored…not that fancy… just my own thoughts and money spent 🙂
Simple Mills might be my favorite find this month! If you watch our Instagram stories you know we are legit obsessed with all of these products. The ingredients are on point and a great option for folks needing gluten free options. I’ve made these muffins twice now and the second time had the brilliant idea to add chocolate chips…so good! They make a great breakfast option (pair with yogurt or eggs) or snack for you and/or the kiddos. And don’t get be started on these Rosemary & Sea Salt crackers…holy cow life changing good. I got these 3 products in my first Thrive Market box, but have also seen them at Whole Foods and Target.
Siggi’s is a brand I know, love, and trust…so when I stumbled upon these yogurt tubes I was so excited! Quinn is obsessed with yogurt, but it can get super messy with her trying to spoon it herself. So, for those days that I just don’t have the energy to clean up a bowl of yogurt off the floor (and dog) I give her one of these and she devours it. A lot of kids yogurt squeeze packs are loaded with sugar, but these are pretty reasonable. I also threw a few into the freezer for “fro yo” and she goes nuts for it. Another Siggi’s find is this no sugar added 4% yogurt and I found it at Whole Foods last week. It only has 5 grams of sugar and the banana & cinnamon flavor was delish!
Primal Kitchen makes awesome salad dressings with legit ingredients and ZERO sugar. For those with food allergies…it is also dairy, soy, canola, gluten, and grain free. How could it possibly taste good then right?? Well, I usually get the Ranch flavor and my husband who is a hard core Hidden Valley Ranch fan even admitted it tasted pretty good…win! I ordered the Caesar in my Thrive Market box and it is seriously so good! You can obviously use this as salad dressing or dip for raw veggies, but it’s also good on a quinoa/sweet potato bowl. Definitely give these salad dressings a try if you haven’t yet.
Siete OK these are were a splurge I’ll admit, but so worth it in my book. I wanted to try their almond flour tortillas and they did not disappoint. I used these all week to make lunches for me and Quinn. I plan to buy another pack and use them for enchiladas.
Califia Farms makes great almond and coconut milk that I’m sure many of you have either seen or tried. So, on my quest to spend less $$$ on crack Starbucks I’m making coffee at home more. I’ve been testing out new creamers and really liked this hazelnut one! Ingredients are good enough and there is no sugar..so win win!
Milkadamia is another Thrive Market score! I love trying out different cows milk alternatives so thought I would give this a try. The downside: very low in protein (1 gram). The upside: it is low in sugar (0 grams), fortified with vitamin D, B12, and Calcium. Most importantly it tastes pretty good too. So, if you’re bored with almond milk in your smoothies macadamia milk might be worth a shot!
Purely Elizabeth new flavor alert!! Found these bad boys at Whole Foods last week…maple + almond butter and chocolate sea salt + peanut butter. Gawd these flavors keep getting better and better! My absolute favorite granola to eat with yogurt, top on oatmeal, fro yo, smoothie bowl, or just straight handfuls to the mouth…you get the point.
Lara bites are not a new product by any means, but I have started to buy them for a little dessert at night. A few of these bites totally hit the spot after dinner. The mint flavor is my fav and I keep them in the freezer. You can find these at Target and Whole Foods.
Eating Evolved makes some damn good chocolate! These coconut butter cups are my favorite dessert right now. The mint cream is my fav (see a mint trend here), but the caramel sea salt is yummy too. I keep these in the freezer because I just think everything taste better when frozen? I’ve seen these at most Whole Foods, but I ordered a huge stash in my Thrive Market box this month because YOLO!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this February “food finds” roundup and let me know if you try anything from this list or have any of your own finds I should try!
