Happy November 1st! We made a point to try and take the kids to do one fun fall activity a week. Here is a photo dump of all the things we’ve been up to and checking off our fall to-do list. The kids have been having fun and soaking up the season. I know so many people are taking down their Halloween decorations today and gearing up for Christmas, but it’s still Fall! These are all still great ideas to do with the kids throughout November.
We took the kids to an awesome Pumpkin Patch that has a bunch of fun activities for them to do besides picking out the perfect pumpkins. They had a blast running around, going on a hay ride, slides, and a cow train ride! We loaded up on kettle corn, taffy, and pumpkins to take home with us.
It was a cold morning, but the kids LOVED picking apples. We both came home with more apples than we knew what to do with (hence the below activity). The kids also loved running through the corn maze and the apple cider donuts were TO DIE FOR!!
Since we has so many extra apples leftover from our apple picking adventure we decided to try to be Pinterest mom’s and well…let’s say our final product was not Pinterest worthy! But it was a fun morning and the kids thought the chocolate covered apples tasted great- duh!
I picked up this kit a few weeks ago from Trader Joe’s and we decorated it over the weekend. Sadly, it was not very cute and I forgot to take a picture of it. The frosting was challenging to use, but we got the house together and Quinn had fun adding the candy to it. We had the haunted house out for a few days and she was allowed to have a few candy bites off of it a day and then I finally pitched it! it was a cheap and easy weekend activity and we will be doing another one for Christmas I’m sure!

Even though this holiday season is a little different this year, we are trying to make it as memorable for the kids as possible. We’d love to hear creative ways you’re celebrating the season with your littles.
