What was the consensus on the Sleep Number vs. Tempurpedic debate? Have you decided on one or the other?
Overall, people like the Tempurpedic over the Sleep Number. One of our followers is a chiropractor and said she has never had a patient who has loved their Sleep Number so that was a pretty big endorsement for the Tempur for me. I had about only about 3 people say they loved their Sleep Number. We ended up ordering a Tempur from Costco because it was like 2k cheaper than ordering it direct so we’ll see if we end up liking it or not.. we have 90 days to test it out and if it’s just not for us, we’ll return it! Also heard Sleep Number’s return policy is a pain and Tempur comes with white glove service so overall, for the same price it seemed like the best option for us.
What moisturizer do you use during the winter months? Any favorite serums right now?
I (Heather) had a few months of fantastic skin but with the winter months and quarantine, it brought a whole bunch of “maskne” so I have really been conscious of what I put on my face. Whenever my skin breaks out, I get back to the basics. I cleanse with this iS complex cleanser, use this serum as a spot treatment, and Skinceuticals retinol (I alternate between the spot treatment and retinol.. too much of either irritates my skin). As for moisturizer, I come back to my Drunk Elephant Protini time and time again because it’s so light and doesn’t leave me feeling oily.
What winter coat are you sporting during these super cold months? I’m thinking more something for everyday and under $300.
We both love the Amazon coat everyone raves about and says is so warm! This one by Eddie Bauer is so cute and a great price point as well. Heather just purchased this down Nike parka for some upcoming local snow trips. And we have both been rocking our Lulu vests with heavy sweatshirts underneath to stay warm.

What are your favorite boots for the snow?
Sorel’s are probably the most practical winter snow boot and love these (the black version here) and these. A bunch of my friends have this pair and it has lasted them years. This is Ugg’s version and I bet they are super comfortable… the white are so chic. Can’t go wrong with any of these options and your feet will be very happy and warm. Don’t go cheap on your winter boots.. there is nothing worse than being cold in the snow (Alix will tell you she wore Hunter rain boots during her first winter here and learned her lesson HARD).

Heather- what are you getting your boys for Christmas this year?
My boys are getting new LEGO sets (they love anything cars, jets, or Star Wars), Cameron is getting a new bike, and Parker is getting some Fat Brain educational toys. Jackson also really wants a football jersey with his name on the back so he might get that, too! And then my husband went behind my back and got them a 4-wheeler for the backyard and I did not approve that message so I don’t think it counts 😉 But yeah they’re gonna lose their mind over it.

We both have these faux leather leggings and feel like they are so versatile. You can wear them with a shacket, coatigan, or we love this sweater with them that you can dress up with booties or down with sneakers. You can also wear an oversized pullover like this or this with boots like this or sneakers. For the holidays you could totally dress them up with a sweater like this, fun headband, and OTK boots.
