What are your favorite brand of jeans: splurge and save options!
Right now, my favorite brand of jeans are Agolde and Levis (my tried and true ride or die). I’d say Levi’s are my save option and wouldn’t get ones any cheaper because they’re just not quality and you’ll end up tossing them at some point. Always size up in Levis as they have zero give. I got the Agolde 90s fit jeans and don’t think they’re everyone’s cup of tea but I really like them as they’re super high waisted and I can wear shorter tanks with them and not feel like I’m trying too hard.
I am going to wine country in September and need a cute wine tasting outfit.. I think it will still be warm but not scorching hot.. so I think I can get away with something fall ish.
My girlfriend got this dress for our own upcoming wine tasting trip in September and think it’s the perfect dress/color for the occasion. I also think a cute skirt/top set would be on point or a maxi (in the event you’re climbing in and out of a limo all day.. maxi dresses to the rescue here!). Pair any of these with slides and a fab fall hat (currently on sale!) and you’re good to go!
I know you’re a Nike lover.. any good finds recently you plan to rock for fall?
Nike all day and I’ll never stray 😉 The first reason being that my brother works for the company but also because I just think they do it right. Here are my Nike faves right now:
Tired mama of 2 here (2 and 4 years old) and I am wondering if you have any tips on how to get your kids to fall asleep independently?! I want my evenings back!
I think like with most things when it comes to kids (sleep, potty training, etc) CONSISTENCY and routine are key. I think I have had success with my boys in the sleep and potty training department because I am a pretty tough and rigid parent.. I don’t mess around lol. I set expectations, try and explain things calmly and rationally, give warnings when needed, and follow through with consequences if I have to. However, I have found that having the same bed time every night, the same routine of upstairs, brush your teeth, get your jammies on, you get one or two books and I’M OUT has just worked for us. My 2 year old is still in his crib so he has no choice but to lay there and fall asleep on his own and can’t get out. I do not go back in once I put him to bed. Fig it out. As for my older boys, we’ve just been doing the same thing for so long that I haven’t had too many problems in this area. However, there was a point when my middle would come into our room in the middle of the night and we got this clock that gave him indications of what time it was and if it was OK to get up or not. Now he doesn’t need it because he’s not waking up or coming to get us anymore but I still have the clock in there. Unpopular opinion: I like it better than the Hatch, which I also have. The Hatch is cuter but it’s just too fancy. I don’t need bells and whistles. The Amazon one is just as good and cheaper… does the exact same thing. Go the F to sleep 😉 And if you don’t have success, just know this phase will end. They will sleep. They will fall asleep on their own. If they need you for the extra back scratches and snuggles for a few more months, do it. Cuz soon they won’t want you or need you. And it’s a punch in the gut.
What vitamins do you give your kids? How do you pick a good one?
Quinn takes a probiotic, elderberry gummies, and a multivitamin every day. We’ve rotated between this and this multi and more recently my husband got the kids gummies from Costco behind my back because they are cheaper lol. Oh well- she will live. I want to try the Ritual kids vitamin too. What you ideally want to look for in a vitamin is free from artificial sweeteners, dyes, and flavors. Ideally the vitamin comes from whole food sources and has no added sugar (my Costco ones definitely don’t pass this test!) Other good vitamin options are: Naturelo and Llama Naturals. If your doctor says your child needs and iron supplement, I like Mary Ruth’s liquid iron.
I’m looking for a new matching workout set/outfit. Can you link a few cute options please.
Here are some cute options:
What were the results from the book suggestions from Instagram poll?

Alix can you link your new Vuori shorts you wore the other day on Insta?
Yes Vuori is quickly taking over as one of our favorite athleisure brands (our husbands love it too)! The material is such high quality and so so soft (think Align from Lulu) Linked them here!
Cheers! H&A
