I’m in the market for a new pair of Golden Goose sneakers. First of all are these still cool or is the trend over? If they are still “in” can you link a few pairs you love that would be versatile?
We still have, wear and love our GG’s.. we wear what we love not what’s in style. If I were to purchase a pair right now, it would be one of these:
I want to invest in a new pair of rain boots this fall/winter…can you link your some good options please. No Hunters!
Hunters are for the pumpkin patch only lol… so many other cute options out there for everyday wear in the rain and they don’t necessarily LOOK like rain boots!:
ONE | TWO | THREE I have the first two and obsessed with the third one’s color!
I need a new cc cream that has a little more coverage than the tinted moisturizers I use during the summer.
I just purchased this one and love how it applies onto the skin (I am color 3) but I have also used this one and this one in the past and love them equally!
I love the look of the Gucci Princetown mules for winter but don’t want to splurge $1,000. Can you send me a good dupe?!
These are a great dupe, as are these, and finally these 🙂
What are your favorite recipes to cook from for healthy weeknight meals? Do you reference recipe books or online recipes more often?
I typically jump on Pinterest (follow us- I pin all the online recipes I make) or skim through some of my favorite cookbooks to get inspo. True Comfort, True Roots, Skinny Taste, Body Love, Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow, and It’s All Good are some of my favorites. I also like recipes from bloggers like Rachael Good Eats, Half Baked Harvest, and A Pinch of Yum.
What is your nighttime routine with Kinsley now that she’s 4 months old? What swaddle are you using? Sound machine? I need all the advice to get my baby to sleep!
We have settled into a pretty good night routine. Babies/kids love routine and so do I 😉 If she needs it I will try to get her to take a 20-30 minute cat nap about 1-2 hours before bed time. This usually happens in the swing or me wearing her. Then we hang for a little and drink a bottle before bath. She loves the bath, so we do it almost nightly to help calm her, kill time, and signal to that that her big sleep is coming! After bath I give her a massage with lotion (yes every night- I totally spoil this one, but she loves it) then jammies, a quick book if she’s not too tired and fussy then her bottle. Right now we are using the Magic Merlin sleep sack and Hatch sound machine.
This routine is working pretty well for us right now, but she seems to still be going through her 4 month sleep regression or is just getting into a bad habit of waking u p 1-2 x night for a snack which I’ll need to cut ASAP (so hard though!). I had a sleep consult with Ashley from Sleep Shop this week and it was SO helpful, so I recommend you schedule one if you’re having sleep issues with your babe!
What’s been helpful to have for your second baby of the same sex? We have friends having their second girl and wanted to get them a little something.
If you know the babe’s name ahead of time you could get something personalized like name puzzle or blanket. You could also go in with a few friends and gift a subscription to Babydoc Box (which I’m loving as a second time mom) or a Kiwi co box.
I am very newly postpartum and want to get back into some light movement/exercise. Where do you suggest I start?
Take it easy mama! After Quinn I started too soon and too hard and regretted it. With Kinsley I was more gentle and kind to myself in getting back into workouts. Before my 6 week check up with my doctor I did some light walking and stretching. Once I got cleared I started walking more, doing Melissa Wood Health online classes, Barre 3 online postnatal classes, low impact Peloton rides, and postnatal Peloton yoga classes.
