Can you link the look alike Goyard on Happy Hour please?! The large or small size? What color do you have? Is it worth it?
Yes! It’s back and blurred out on the pictures but it’s the one we’ve all been looking for! Alix got the green and I ordered the white in size large. The small and large are the same price, which is confusing but either way we enjoy a larger tote since we are carrying around snacks and kid crap all day long lol. Shipping is expensive because it’s likely coming from overseas letssssss be honest but it’s still so inexensive compared to the real thing. I can’t wait to compare it to my real version.. also who is actually looking up close at it? No one. Worth a shot.. arrives in June lol. Love a “look for less” especially when the sippy cup spills all over it.
Cowboy boots and hats seem to be on trend.. can you link some cute boots to pair with jean shorts?!
Cowgirl summer is defintely trending but here in Seattle I feel like we’d look dumb rocking them but doesn’t mean I haven’t looked at boots haha. I love these the most right now and these in a close second!
What are your must have hats for spring/summer?
Well first of all it should be the sun visor to protect yoself but I have a feeling that’s not what you’re asking 😉 I love these for summer though that I will be rotating in between the visor!
I want some pretty, flowy dresses for summer to throw on for date night or just after being in the sun but will look put together for a casual dinner. Help!
What are your morning routines?
Heather: Honestly, every morning is pretty different (sometimes I get up super early and head to a workout class and sometimes I don’t) but here are the things I do every day no matter what. Wake up, Wordle lol, I try and hold off on coffee now for at least an hour if I can and hydrate instead. I throw a little sea salt in my water because most women eating a ”clean” diet aren’t actually getting enough salt in their diet surprisingly. I make beds, lay out clothes, make the kids breakfast, lunches and they play while I head into the gym. I try and get my steps in first thing or a workout but sometimes the full blown workout comes later (in the form of cardio, yoga or pilates). Then I sauna, cold shower, and drink coffee before heading out the door at 8:30! I take all my supplements and things like that later the day after I get some food in my stomach.
Alix: I try my best to wake up early most weekdays and get a workout in first thing. I’m going to a class once/week (Orange Theory or Pure Barre) and on other days I will do a workout in the garage, or take Daisy on a long walk now that it’s light out early. It really helps with my mood, anxiety, and energy if I can workout before the kids are up. If this doesn’t happen I will do my workout during Kinsley’s morning nap. Then I make my Athletic Greens (+ ACV and fresh lemon juice) and drink that before my coffee. I make my bed then I make Kins a bottle (I play Wordle while she drinks her bottle lol) and give that to her upstairs while Quinn gets ready for school. They play a little and I straighten up their rooms before we head downstairs. Then I’ll feed them breakfast, make Quinn’s lunch if I didn’t do it the night before, and we leave for the bus stop at 8:20.
Can you tell me more about the IV you got? I’ve been hearing about NAD IV’s but they’re expensive. Are they worth it?
I, Heather, went to Restore in Kirkland (there are a few scattered about the greater Seattle area) and got a mix of vitamin c, B complex, glutathione, and some other nutrients that were recommended based on how I was feeling (tired, run down etc). They have a huge list of IV therapy, intramuscular shots as well as cryotherapy, red light therapy, sauna, hydrafacials and more. Worth checking out! Alix can give the rundown on NAD but she told me to stay away from it cuz she wasn’t sure if it was worth it!
I, Alix, have been getting a B-12 shot with amino acids to help with energy levels and metabolism. Here is the thing with IV nutrition…the effects are short term. They typically wear off in a few days, so it is something you have to do on a consistent basis depending on what your goals are. If you’re feeling a cold coming on getting an IV with glutathione, zinc, vitamin c, vitamin a, b vitamins, and selenium plus some hydration can be beneficial to help you shorten the duration or even prevent a cold (if done soon enough). NAD stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide which is a coenzyme found in ALL living cells. It helps turn nutrients into energy and helps regulate other biological activity such as immune function and cellular repair. As we age, our NAD level decline. It’s a very $$$ and long IV treatment. Most people say they have increased energy initially, but the effects wear off after a few days. The more times you do it the longer the results last. IMO this treatment is not necessary for the average person. If you’ve recently been very sick or have had an injury it could be beneficial. It can also be a helpful treatment option for people with conditions such as osteoarthritis, dementia, chronic pain, chronic neurodegenerative diseases, and osteoporosis because of it’s impact on cellular repair.
