I’m looking for a duvet or comforter to update my guest room. I have silver or gold lamps I can use and dark cherry wood furniture. Artwork is non existent so it feels like a blank canvas currently. Do you recommend a pattern? Solid?
I’d always recommend solid but with some texture because that’s the aesthetic I love! But do what you like if you want some color and flare! Pottery Barn is my go to for comfy comforters. This is my current favorite. And it’s on sale 😉 If you want to go a little less expensive, Target has some bomb options like this I used on Parker’s bed in grey (also on sale).

Are you guys still ordering Daily Harvest products after the recall scare? Curious Alix’s perspective since she’s an RD.
I don’t order the bowls anymore and order the smoothies infrequently now to have for back-up, but I prefer to just make my own at this point because I was adding so much to the DH smoothies it felt silly. DH smoothies are a fine base, but they lack adequate protein, fat, and fiber. Some also are very fruit heavy. Make sure you’re adding at least 20 grams protein, 2 tablespoons fat and about 5+ grams fiber to your smoothies. I also always add extra greens because I feel like they are skimpy in the DH ones.

We don’t have a gas fit pit, just a wood one. We have this one and it works well. My husband and Quinn make s’mores on it all the time. Looks like it’s on major sale rn too!

I (Alix) am in the process of doing it right now. I was scheduled with Skin Spirit in Seattle, but then we moved and I didn’t want to make the drive. I found somewhere locally to do it and have had good results so far. I’m doing brazilian and arm pits and have done 2 rounds so far. I wish I had done it years ago!
Have you heard of Ourself topical lip filler and do you think it works?
I am just starting to hear about it but don’t know anything about it to have an opinion. But I doubt it works. Just over line your lips with liner if you want the effect… like Kylie lol 😉
