Alix can you please explain the collagen post you mentioned in stories this week? So I should or should not be adding collagen to my coffee/smoothies for protein? What are the benefits?
Of course. So taking collagen alone (ex. in your coffee) does not really count toward your total protein needs for the day because collagen protein does not contain any essential amino acids. This means it will not help with muscle growth. Non essential amino acids are still beneficial, but work better with non essential amino acids. So I wouldn’t recommend using collagen as your only protein source in a smoothie.
However, there are still health benefits to collagen (ex. joints, gut, skin, hair, etc.). If you’re looking for a clean protein source that will help with muscle growth I recommend a whey protein (contains very little lactose if that’s a concern for you) like this or just a straight amino acid supplement.

This one is a cult favorite and I own it and love it! If you want something more splurge-worthy, I love this Lack of Color version.
I was planning on buying a white Goyard. Should I get the bigger size? How do the white handles wear and are they easy to clean? Does Goyard replace handles if needed? I love the white but afraid they will get so dirty quick.
So far the handles are fine it’s the inside that is already trashed from coffee spills in the car or Parker throwing something from the backseat that hit the inside of the bag. The outside is easy to clean and handles seem ok. I do believe goyard will repair your bag like Louis for a cost, which isn’t cheap because I’ve done that too! Yes- go for the bigger size! YOLO, girl.
Do apple cider vinegar gummies have the same health benefits as liquid ACV?
No! The health benefits of taking ACV in it’s liquid form are not seen in the gummies. The gummies also have added sugar which would negate a lot of the possible health benefits could offer. The capsules are more promising than the gummies if you can’t stomach vinegar.
