Alix- I am in my 1st trimester and veggies just don’t sound appetizing. Do you think Athletic Greens is a good alternative to get my greens in? What else should I do to get my greens?
I probably wouldn’t recommend AG during pregnancy, but as always ask your doctor. You’re likely taking a prenatal vitamin and taking AG would be giving you excess of those vitamins and minerals which you don’t need/ can be too much. AG also has adaptogens and I was always more conservative and didn’t take adaptogens during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you could tolerate smoothies that would be the best option because you’re still getting the fiber from the greens. I like this recipe. For a green powder option I like this one.
How do you get your lashes to grow?
I swear by Revitalash twice daily (or at least once a day) for long, strong lashes. Skip the brow formula though.. I do not believe it’s worth it.

What cleaner do you use to clean your makeup brushes?
I just purchased this one and I am a believer! I couldn’t believe the amount of gunk that came off. I was confused how to use it at first but I literally just followed the instructions and my mind was blown. I need to be washing them weekly (if I apply makeup).

I (Alix) have the book and haven’t read it front to back, but have skimmed it and I like her work. I’ve written a blog post on cycle syncing workouts which she talks about in the book. She’s also done a lot of podcasts that I found helpful in summarizing the book. Basically men are the same 24/7 and our hormones fluctuate 4 times a month making our dietary, exercise, energy, and creativity and social needs different based on our cycle. We aren’t taught this stuff about our bodies and I didn’t really get into it until I was dealing with fertility issues a few years ago.
