I need a new pair of dark wash jeans for fall-winter. Can you link a few options?
High price point: these or these
mid price point: these
low price point: these (my personal favorite except they have zero stretch, which I don’t mind)
I want a new pair of boots that look western but not too western you know?!
Yes I do know what you mean! I love all of these the most right now:
I want a jean jacket for fall.. what is your favorite?
Can you link the Target lounge set that is the same as the Free People one?
I have been getting a lot of ads popping up about continuous glucose monitoring. Is it worth the cost? Will it actually help with weight loss? Is it better then just cleaning up your diet, or does it cause more bad eating habits?
CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) automatically tracks blood glucose (sugar) levels 24/7. You can see your glucose level anytime at a glance without having to do a finger stick. You can also review how your glucose changes over a few hours or days to see trends.
CGM isn’t hype- it’s showing real time glucose levels and can help you make more informed decisions about how to balance your food and exercise. Levels one I’m somewhat familair with and it works by tiny sensor inserted under the skin on the back of the arm. The sensor tests glucose every few minutes. A transmitter wirelessly sends the information to a monitor.
I think this can be a helpful tool for someone who is pre-diabetic and trying to prevent becoming type 2 diabetic or someone trying to lose weight. Everyone has a different blood sugar response to different foods and can even have a big spike to foods that are touted as low carb/keto. This is a tool to help you identify foods and patterns that might be causing you to be resistant to weight loss. I’m a big fan of having more data (I like to track sleep and steps, etc.) so I’m a fan of these products depending on your health goals/medical condition.
It could help you lose weight depening on how you use the information provided. Just by wearing it you simply won’t lose weight 😉 I think it’s always best to start with the basics when it comes to weight loss. If you’ve truly tried everything and thinking more data will help you figure out best foods/fod combos and possible trigger foods (foods that spike glucose) then this could help.
Alix- how is the laser hair removal going? Would love a review when done.
I’ve had 3 or 4 sessions now (I forget) but I have my last one in a few weeks. I LOVE the results and wish I had done it a long time ago and didn’t waste so much time and money waxing. I’m doing underarms and Brazilian and have had great results in both areas. I honestly don’t think the pain is that bad. They give you numbing cream and that helps a lot and it goes by pretty quickly. Highly recommend!
Looking for all new glassware, wine, water, everything nice please!
Crate & Barrel is the best place to get new glassware. It’s a good price point and if something breaks you’re not heart broken and can easily replace. We love this whole set! (scroll down to see the wine and champagne glasses in the set).
If you want something on the higher end, I have had success finding Waterford crystal at antique shops and even Home Goods! If you’re looking for something a bit more extra, Anthropologie has great options and I’m slightly obsessed with these wine glasses!
Alix- can you link your new UGG slippers? I’m on the fence if I really need a new pair this season.
UGGS – I was on the fence too, but realized I’m a homebody and wear them all the time in the colder months (which is like most months here in WA) so I figured I did in fact NEED a new pair 😉 I love them so far! FYI If you’re between sizes- size up! And these are the platform version and in stock.. Heather has these!
