Alix – how big is your mini juicer? Does it take up a lot of space and is it easy to clean?
I would say it takes up about as much space as the Vitamix does. It’s compact and very easy to clean! I use it almost every day I’m home in the morning. I think it’s also super affordable ($60) compared to more standard size juicers that can cost $$$. Highly recommend my juicer!
What are your favorite no-show socks?
I don’t wear no-show socks often, but I have a few pairs of Stance no-show socks and they work pretty well for me. We are both really into the mini crew sock look right now.
Is Bloom green juice similar to Athletic Greens?
I’ve never tried Bloom and have been taking Athletic Greens (AG1) for over a year now, so can only speak to how I feel on AG1. Bloom is about half the cost of AG1 which is a plus if you’re wanting something less $$ because it’s true AG1 is pricey ($100/mo) I admit that. This article does a great job explaining the difference between the two (and one other green powder). After reviewing, I do think AG1 offers more health benefits with additional ingredients like their mushroom complex and I like their their pre and probiotic formula. Even down to them using folate (instead of folic acid) …little things like that that IMO make it worth the $$.
However, if you’re new to adding in a green powder supplement and not sure you want to commit to something like AG1, Bloom is an awesome place to start and see if it’s a habit you can sustain. It also sounds like it tastes better than AG1 if that is an issue for you.
Can you link the Quince sweaters you purchased and sizes?
I got the Fisherman sweater in cream and charcoal in size large for a bigger fit and I think it’s perfect as well as this cardigan in brown size medium. I am mad I didn’t pull the trigger on these pieces earlier and will absolutely be purchasing additional sweaters they are SO soft and cozy and very high quality.
What are your favorite base layers for skiing?
I have a set from ASOS but one day plan to invest in Sweaty Betty layers as well as fleece lined leggings and a wool half zip if it’s really cold. I use this neck gaiter and this face cover as well. Warm gloves are also essential.
What is the cleansing water you use to take off your makeup?
I recently started using this cleansing water and it takes your makeup off and doesn’t leave a greasy film. I cleanse with my cleanser after using the water. It is considered a “clean” product with no fragrance and I think it’s better than using a makeup remover wipe that just smears your makeup around without actually taking it off. I haven’t run this step by my esthetician but will at my next appt and hope she doesn’t say the product sucks cuz I love it to really get the day off IF I wear makeup (which is pretty rare). I still love the Elemis cleansing balm but this water product is so cheap and legit.
Any recent Amazon must haves?
I just reordered this cult fave tinted SPF, these sponge headbands for doing my makeup and skincare routine, and this half zip that could pass as Varley.
Do you guys like the Everlane performance legging? Do you workout in them?
We LOVE these leggings. We both have them in black and they fit like a dream. We don’t wear them for workouts. They are perfect for travel days, errands, and could easily be dressed up.
