Just went to my dermatologist for an IPL laser treatment. She recommended I use the acronym “GRASS” when purchasing products. G is for growth factor, R is for retinoid, A is for Antioxidant, S is for serum, the other S is sunscreen. I wasn’t sure if this was the order to layer the products at night or not. The dermatologist also recommended using products like skinceuticals, IS clinical, Isdin, and Epionce. So my question is, how do you layer your products and do you have any recommendations for products? I went on Dermstore and was overwhelmed by all of the choices!
This all sounds perfect and yes in that order. I (Heather) don’t currently use a growth factor but yes to everything else in addition to a good moisturizer. I love al of those brands + Sente. Keep it simple like your dermatologist mentioned with those products and use something medical grade and you’re good to go!
Can you link the Hermes look alike sandals?
They’re really good. I am usually an 8.5, got a 9 and they’re perfect just a touch wide. But comfortable.
I want the Prada straw tote for the beach/pool this summer but don’t want the price tag. Any dupes?
Snag it before it gets taken down lol.
Can you link a bed frame cute enough for a kids room but something they can grow into over the years?
Yes! This is what I have for Parker.
How did you start solids with your kids? BLW?
With Quinn I was very nervous and wanted to do BLW, but just couldn’t. I did a lot of purées, made my own baby food, etc. First time mom stuff ;). With Kinsley I was also anxious about solids, but was able to do more BLW. I did a combination of purées and BLW. I found the IG account solid starts very helpful and they have a great app as well for BLW. I also had a Little Spoon subscription and had purées delivered (I was over making my own food lol). I loved the purées and smoothie pouches. The toddler meals I didn’t love, so cancelled my subscription when Kinsley was more into finger foods. Honestly, do what makes you feel the most comfortable.
Are the Lululemon slides worth the hype?
I like them! They really are comfortable and I plan to wear them all summer. They are a little pricey for basic slides, but really are comfortable. Heather and I were joking that these slides might be better though 😉
Are the Orgain protein shakes a good choice when I need a post-workout protein drink? If not, what are your recs?
Orgain shakes are OK. They have some dairy free options which is nice, have 16 grams protein, some fat, and carbs making it a well balanced post workout snack. I don’t love the 11 grams added sugar. I will drink them sometimes in a pinch because I get them sent to me, so have them in the house. They do make this shake that is a lot less added sugar and more protein, so try and find this one if you like Orgain products. I personally like these if I need a protein drink.
Looking for a light weight dress option for the summer to easily throw on after the pool or to run errands in that makes me look a little put together.
Love this stripped bodycon dress and this smocked dress.
