Alix – are you going back to your PE job or planning to do something else this year?
No, I’m not. I decided to wanted to get back into nutrition work and will be back doing nutrition counseling at a local college.
I need some staples for school drop off. Anything you purchased for the year?
I’ll do a whole post on some ideas but here are some classics I rotate:
I am attending a wedding in Cabo in November and don’t know what to wear. I want it to be vacation-y but since it’s November nothing too over the top/bright.
What to wear to a baby shower this fall! Help!
What trends are in for fall and the remainder of the year?
We are going to see a lot of cherry red (specifically in boots, coats and bags), olive green, yellow, oversized denim paired with oversized tees/sweaters and straight leg (not skinny) jeans with menswear inspired shirts and pointy heels.
Does blue spiralina have any health benefits or is it purely for color in smoothies? Is there anything else you’d put spiralina in? What about green vs. blue?
Spirulina is has a ton of health benefits. It’s a powerful antioxidant which help reduce inflammation in the body including your heart. It can positively impact your blood cholesterol and triglycerides. It also has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be a decent source of plant protein, and contains essential vitamins and minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, niacin, potassium, omega-3’s, and B vitamins (specifically high in B12). As for color, green offers a higher nutritional value, but both are very nutrient dense. Blue makes your smoothie look extra cool though and why a lot of smoothie shops will offer it 😉
Can you link some cute laptop purses that look cute but not too $$$. I need one for a work conference coming up.
You could just get a laptop case like this one and toss into any purse. If you want a purse that has a specific pouch for a lap top this | this | this are all cute options.
Alix- I loved your post about school lunch hacks this week. My boy is so obnoxiously picky that the lunch packing options have become verrrrry narrow. Unfortunately he doesn’t succumb to the peer pressure and just doesn’t eat and comes home hangry. Have you done a post on picky eaters?
Ugh so frustrating! I haven’t done a specific post on picking eating, but I did write this post A LONG ago when Quinn was 2 and a picky eater. I will write an updated picky eater post soon!
