I just had my second baby and am ready to do some shopping. Any outfit ideas or looks for a stay at home mom that is breastfeeding 8,000 times per day? š¤Ŗ Or what are your favorite places for nursing clothes? Wanting to feel better than wearing oversized teeās literally everyday.
Congrats!! Honestly, this is such a short season of life and living in oversized t shirts is perfectly normal and OK!! But we understand wanting to feel more like yourself. We never purchased nursing clothes and just sized up with some inexpensive pieces (think Amazon and H&M). I think some āsetsā would be so perfect because even though theyāre pretty much sweats, they match and look put together. With sets, keep the colors monochromatic. Also, we are entering a new season with fall so hopefully the weather is cooling off where you are and oversized sweaters are the best answer when breastfeeding! This entire page at H&M is what I would be shopping if I was a new mom. Neutral, inexpensive basics to get me through the season. As for underneath, I lived in these bralettes when I was breastfeeding.. we are messing around with underwires. These nursing tanks are also great to layer.

Jewelry always.. a bracelet, ring, or necklace of choice! I remember every piece of jewelry and the special occasion I received it. Jewelry is extremely personal so these suggestions are purely things I like but take them as just that.. suggestions! I am obsessed with this Tiffany cuff and had a similar one years ago and not sure where it went.. need to dig for it. This tennis bracelet is slightly over budget and my husband would say that is my specialty lol but itās gorgeous, dainty, and timeless. A personalized Roman numeral ring would also be sick. This cuff with your birthstone color would be pretty. Lastly, this crossover diamond ring is super unique.
Are we into Adidas Sambas this season? I see them on everyone.
I caved and got a pair and admit, they are one of my most comfortable sneakers. I donāt love how ātrendyā they are but I do like how versatile they are as they can be worn with shorts, jeans, or slacks and donāt always have to just be casual.. you can dress them up as seen here. I love this color way and youāll be seeing a ton of green this next few seasons.

Are the red light masks Iām seeing worth buying? And if so, which one?
Yes, I do think they are worth it. Alix has one and loves, but you have to use it consistently to see results. Ideally Iām wearing mine for 20 minutes 3-5 times a week. Iāll wear why I stretch or read before bed to multi task. Alix has this one. My esthetician wants me to get one and I just havenāt pulled the trigger yet because theyāre pricey. These are the three I see most and would trust. Steer clear from buying a red or blue light therapy mask from places like Amazon because again, this is LIGHT which is very powerful and youāre putting it on your face. Buy it from a verified and reputable company.
Whatās mouth tape for and should I be using it when I sleep?
This is gaining more popularity and Iām seeing it all over my TikTok and podcasts, specifically when it comes to sleep habits. There are benefits to breathing through your nose (vs. mouth) but there is not a lot of research to back up many of the health claims. People swear by it to getting better sleep but I have yet to get on board.. I also donāt think Iām a mouth breather!? I think itās mostly beneficial for those who are mouth breathers and snore, which I feel like more men are than women. Maybe Iāll test this on my husband first lol. I still find it weird to be honest. But I wonāt knock it š
Is there any research that shows that children benefit from vitamins?
So there arenāt a lot of guidelines when it comes to children and supplements/vitamins. Itās always best to ask your pediatrician for their recommendations for your child based on their growth, intake amount and variety, and other determining factors. What I can say is there is some research to support vitamin supplementation in children in which a vitamin deficiency is found, either because of a reduced intake due to scarce availability of certain foods, unbalanced or restrictive diets, or inadequate absorption.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day but I need something light and healthy after my AM workout. Any tips?
I feel you. You want to find breakfast protein sources you like and go from there. Think eggs, nut butter, protein powder, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, breakfast turkey sausage, etc. I like to pick my protein source and go from there with additions to make it balanced. Personally, Iāve been on a Greek yogurt kick which my esthetician hates for me, but Iām not breaking out so Iām sticking to it! I will do like a cup of Greek yogurt (close to 15-20 grams protein) and sometimes will mix in a scoop of protein powder to get me closer to 40 grams protein. Iāll add light toppings like handful nuts, granola, berries. Itās quick, easy, and keeps me so full! If I have time I like making a green smoothie (love this recipe), or eggs, 1 slice avocado toast and berries.
