Can you give tips on how to drink more water? I have a really hard time getting in anywhere close to how much water I “should” be drinking a day.
I drink the majority of my water with my supplements. I start the day with my Athletic Greens in 16 oz water, my creatine and amino acids during my workout is another 24 oz, then I drink my electrolytes in a 40oz Stanley. From there I set a goal to have one more 40 oz Stanley. Then I have my nightly magnesium drink in 8 oz water. All of that gets me to about 120oz/day. I have a water bottle like this that I will get out whenever I feel like my water intake is slacking. I will fill it up the night before and try and finish it by the end of the day. I’ll pour it into my Stanley and other drinks.
Thoughts on laser hair removal? What laser machines are the best and what to look for in a clinic?
I (Alix) did it last year and mad at myself for not doing it sooner. I had Brazilian and underarms done. I purchased a package which was about 6 treatments I believe, and I had great results. I need to go back this winter for a few touch up treatments. I have no idea what machines are best, but my clinic uses icon laser treatments and I had good success. You get numbing cream and the treatment is quick with minimal pain IMO.
Recommendations for a family of 5 car? Must fit 3 car seats and not be a van.
We both have Acura MDX’s and love the size for a family of 5 (third row and still trunk space with the third row up). Other really popular opinions are Volvo XC90, Hyundai Palisade, or Toyota Hylander.
Anything you learned about collagen and skin health? Should we be adding it to our morning coffee still?
Sadly, collagen was not covered in the skin health talk. They focused a lot on dermatology and nutrition. I plan to write a review next week. I continue to add collagen to my coffee every morning because I think potential pros out weight any cons. It’s low risk and at the very least 10-20 additional grams of protein in your diet.

What is raw milk and how is it different from whole milk. Where do you get it?
Raw milk has simply not been pasteurized; therefore, potentially harmful bacteria has not been killed. From what I know, in some areas grocery stores can not sell raw milk, so you have to buy it first hand from a farmer. If you live in WA I found this locator for raw milk in the area. I think finding a local farm is going to be your best bet!
Alix what were your thoughts on the On Cloudmonster running shoes?
I love them! I’ve only run a few times in them (my knee is mad at me after traveling) but they gave me so much support. They really do feel like you’re running on a cloud…very light and bouncy. I finally get the On hype! I only wear for walks and runs FYI not strength training, HIIT, or anything else really.
I’m new to WA and need a warm jacket for the winter. What is your favorite down/puffer jacket?
