Creatine question! Are taking creatine gummies the same as taking it in powder form?
So far, the research does support that creatine in gummy form has similar bioavailability (how it’s absorbed) and the powder form. A gummy could be a really good option for those who travel a lot, don’t like the mess or hassle of the powder form, and could help people take it more consistently which is key with this supplement. The downsides, are that gummies per serving are typically more expensive than the powder form, and often contain added sugars and other additives. I think we will be seeing more creatine supplement options within the next few years are this is becoming a hot supplement (and for good reason…I wrote a post here).
What labs do you have done regularly? I have an appointment with my doctor coming up, and want to know what to be asking for.
I listed out lab orders to ask for from your doctor in this post. I listed AMH because it can be an indicator of how many eggs you have left and how close to entering menopause you may be. I for some reason forgot to list to have your fasting blood sugar and HA1C checked as insulin resistance can become an issue as we age- yay! Lasting always get your Vitamin D checked so you can supplement appropriately.
