Can I get your take on full fat yogurt (Greek)? I’ve eaten nonfat yogurt forever mostly based upon preference and wanting to make the switch to full fat. I’m just worried about the cholesterol/saturated fat and don’t want my cholesterol to skyrocket, but I’ve read conflicting opinions. Hellllp!!
Great question!! Yes to full fat 🙌 It will keep you fuller longer, so don’t fear the fat. Dietary cholesterol does not actually contribute to serum (blood) cholesterol- it’s more of a genetics thing when it comes to high cholesterol. Don’t get me wrong, lifestyle can play a role in cholesterol levels, but full fat greek yogurt isn’t going to cause/contribute to it. Also you need the nutrient fat to absorb fat soluble vitamins (A,D,E,&K) so just say no to “fat free” products 😉
Did you girls use Vital Proteins Collagen while pregnant?
Alix- I didn’t know about Vital Proteins until after I had Quinn, but I did take it daily while I was breastfeeding when I was about 4 month PP. Obviously speak with your doctor first, but I would take it pregnant.
Heather- I did take it while I was pregnant and had no issues but like Alix said, speak with your doctor or bring the Vital Proteins into your next appointment and ask (mine didn’t know what it was when I asked so I brought it in with me).
What’s the best double jogger/wagon for bigger kids? I have an almost 4 year old and 2 year old and need a rugged stroller for hiking and rougher terrain.
I’d suggest a double BOB if you’re a hiker or plan to take it off roading but beware, the BOB does not fit through a lot of doors. Whoever designed it clearly wasn’t running errands with their kids. So if that’s not going to work for you, I have the double Baby Jogger and love it.. and it fits through all doors. If you want a wagon, go with a Radio Flyer.
Heather: what was that Wine Block stuff you posted about last weekend when you went wine tasting?
This stuff is so cool! So a little back story. This is timely as I just took an Orange Theory class yesterday and didn’t wear a supportive bra for running.. it was very distracting throughout class. SO, the ones I recommend for running (and bigger breasted women) are one, two, three and four.

Alix: I just finished listening to “The Idea of You” it was an easy listen and I enjoyed it. I’m also reading The Great Alone right now that I really like, but Kristin Hannah books take me a while to get in to and finish. Our March book club book is Where the Crawdads Sing and I just downloaded this to listen to. Yes I listen and read a book at the same time haha. There are SO many good options out there right now! I just posted about these AGOLDE ones and really thinking about finally pulling the trigger. I got these from American Eagle for Hawaii and LOVE them. I also love these, these, and these (if you don’t want ripped ones).
