My 15 month old son is on an antibiotic that might cause diarrhea. Do you have any recommendations for probiotics I can give him?
It’s probably going to be tough to get probiotic rich foods in your little guy besides a good quality yogurt, so I would recommend supplementing. I use this probiotic for Quinn and it works well. I sprinkle a packet into her milk and shake it up and she has no idea.
I need a serious vitamin regimen makeover. How do I know what to take?
Supplements can be overwhelming and micronutrients are something you want to be smart about dosing. I wrote a post here about the supplements i take and recommend.
First of all, I encourage you to get recent labs drawn if you haven’t in the past year. Ask your doctor for a CBC, Vitamin D, and thyroid to be checked. From there you can supplement if there are deficiencies. If your diet is pretty balanced you probably don’t need a multivitamin…if you eat like crap then take a multivitamin 😉 Chances are (depending on where you live and lifestyle) your vitamin D is on the low end and can benefit from a supplement. Supplements can range from 500-5,000iu and if your D is low you will likely need a higher dose to raise your levels to a normal range. Talk to your doc. I have been loving my pre and probiotic supplement and highly recommend for everyone. I also take my Omega 3’s daily because I don’t typically get fish in 2-3 x week (I wish I did). Lastly, I’ve added a B complex and feel like it gives me good energy during the day (take in the morning). That should give you a good start 😉
I want a new diffuser for the spring.. any cute ones you’ve seen?
If you’re willing to splurge, this one is the cutest and best one that looks like a piece of art but also fills up a space perfectly (I am currently saving for it myself!). This one from Amazon is also amaze (in black too hellooooo) but pricey as well. If those are not in the cards, this one from Target and this one from Amazon are just as fabulous and do the exact same thing 😉 ps I have the one from Target.
I’m looking to invest in a new spring slide/mule. I want something tan or white and under $100 any recommendations?
Here are my favorites (the Gucci’s being the ULTIMATE dream haha):
I want to start transitioning into some lighter denim for spring…can you share some of your favorite jeans for spring?
My favorite jeans are Levi’s, Madewell, and Abercrombie..oh, and if they aren’t high waisted they can go to hell. So here are my faves:
I need a new pair of simple black leggings I can wear for athleisure purposes and maybe walking… any suggestions?
I love my tried-and-true Zella Live In high waist leggings for everyday wear, but I just tried the Everlane leggings and they are SO SO good. They have a similar price point as the Zella, are also high waisted, but the material isn’t as heavy/thick as the Zella. I like the Zella ones for colder weather and these Everlane ones are going to be great for Spring. I’m also obsessed with my Align Pant and and Spanx leggings as well.
Thanks for your questions this week! Have a great weekend.. we hope to see you at our event tomorrow with The Sweat Studios!!
