What books are you reading right now? I want something light and fun for summer.
I’m reading What She Knew right now and it’s good, but not a light summer read! I’ve heard 28 Summers is the perfect summer read right now. I also have Pretty Things, Big Summer, The Summer Deal, Winter in Paradise, The Other Mrs., The Scent Keeper, The Last House Guest, & Daisy Jones and the Six on my list!
I’m getting my Peloton bike delivered next week (FINALLY)! What are some good rides for a newbie?!
Yay!! You will love it! You can filter classes and choose “beginner” under class type and that will pull up all beginner rides. These rides are good if you’re not super familiar with indoor cycle classes. Cody theme rides are another fun place to start. He has a lot of fun rides like pop rides, decade rides, Backsteet Boys ride, and I cannot wait to take his newest Britney ride!
If you’re used to Soul Cycle type classes then explore the “groove rides” and if you want something chill check out the low impact rides. If you want something harder the HIIT and hills, tabata, power zone (endurance) and interval classes are the most challenging IMO.
Favorite instructors:
Cody: His rides are fun and will make you laugh. Good music and still break a good sweat.
Alex: LOVE him when I’m looking for good music and getting my ass kicked! He yells are you and it brings me back to my athlete days. I love it.
Emma: Her vibe is everything. She’s chill but kicks your butt still! Her music is great too.
Matt: He’s an athlete and in his rides you train like one. They are great endurance rides and I usually PR when I take him because you’re heart rate is UP!
I also like Ally Love and Tunde (she’s so hard!!) – just haven’t taken as many of their rides yet!

We move at the end of the month and can’t WAIT! While the house doesn’t need any major renovations besides a couple of bathrooms (that we will do over time), we will be updating paint and light fixtures first! I will do a house tour when we get in 🙂
