Bringing really similar energy into 2025 that I did this past year because it was a good one. Taking care of my mind and body is first and foremost.. self care, walks, weights, lots of water and some pickleball when time allows. Traveling with my family on ski trips, back to Wisconsin as often as we can, and hopefully another Hawaii trip is in the cards. Lastly, girls trips/lunches/outings are always good for the soul!

I agree with Heather that 2024 was a good year and I hope to continue to just build on my goals from last year. I want to continue to be consistent in taking care of my health, nutrition, and fitness. Next year we have a few family trips I’m looking forward to (ski and boat trips and Disneyland). I also have a few girls trips that always give me something fun to look forward to.
2024 was a good pickleball year for me, and I’m excited to continue to get better. I’m also going to challenge myself in 2025 by trying something new…skiing! We plan to get Kinsley up on skis this year and I married into a ski family so LFG! Patience with myself and my family is always something I’m trying to work on as well. I would like to focus on family meals next year…I got into the bad habit of becoming a short order cook for the kids and I’m just done! I already told them (mostly Quinn) I will be making one meal a night and they are encouraged to try new foods. I will always make recipes more kid friendly to accommodate, but making 3 different things a night is just exhausting.
2024 I really leaned into strength training and hypertrophy training. I plan to continue that into the new year, but become more consistent with my recovery. I’ve been slacking on my yoga, stretching and mobility. I want to incorporate more of that in the new year along with sauna and cold plunge.
