It’s now below 60 when I wake up every morning and I am reaching for leggings, tees, puffers, and long sleeve running shirts more often than not. RIP summer workout gear. Time to layer up for those early morning run/walks (let’s be honest, it’s a walk). And while I wish I was one of those girls who would immediately shower and put real clothes on, I’m just not. I shower and either put on loungewear sets or a new workout outfit.
My cool weather athleisure look is leggings (I love Align or the ones from Amazon), a tee, Uggs, and a puffer jacket or vest for errands and school pick up. I’ve had the North Face vest for years and it’s still going strong and keeps you so warm. I layer all of the pieces below to go from the workout room to the grocery store 🙂
I just got the Nike Metcons because Olivia from Peloton is always wearing them and I was #influenced (now if only I could copy her abs). They are COMFORTABLE. Perfect for runs, walks, or HIIT. And when I’m done, the Uggs go on! I’ve always liked the mini boot over the tall calf ones.. they slip on easy and look cuter in my opinion.
I linked the Bala weights that Alix and I both use for our Melissa Wood workouts.. they add a sneaky burn to those low impact days and can be worn on your feet or hands. They always sell out quick so snag them if you ever do barre or pilates inspired workouts!
