The parties have started! Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are on the forefront and it’s never cute to show up to someone’s home without at least a little something. Even if it’s a bottle of wine or a bouquet of flowers, don’t show up empty handed. Ever. Here are some gifts that any hostess would love to receive:
Vinglace Wine Chiller: This wine chiller came onto my radar after my girlfriend in OC introduced me. It is seriously chic and you can get matching stemless wine glasses to go with it if you’re feeling the urge to splurge. I reaaaaally love the gold and white versions. It just screams “holiday” to me and your wine-loving hostess will proudly display her vino in this chiller all season (and year) long.
Personalized Coffee Mug: These coffee mugs look designer to me.. think Hermes. Fill it with your hostess’ favorite chocolate candy like silver Hershey kisses, wrap it up in cellophane and tie it with a big, red, obnoxious bow. Hostess gift complete!
Yeti Tumbler: For your hostess who is always hydrating (Hi, Alix).. whether that be with water, wine, or coffee 😉 Yeti’s are a must-have to keep your bevy’s warm OR cold. Win/win!
Diptyque Candle Holder: Alright, this is a unique (and more expensive) one. I saw this candle holder on Somewhere, Lately’s stories the other day and just about DIED. Sure, it’s $100 but you can put just about any candle in this little photophore (I don’t even know what that word means but that’s how the product is described) and it just puts out the most gorgeous light. It’s a showstopper piece that your hostess will display on her table as guests walk in or as her centerpiece on the kitchen island. It’s a beauty. I want it for myself. Gotta find a way to splurge $100 on something like this.. unsure I’ll get away with it though.
Cheese Board: Always a good idea. Always a fabulous gift. Who doesn’t like cheese?! Answer: no one. A cheeseboard with knives is the perfect hostess gift in any circumstance. For any party.
Capri Blue Candle: This candle makes my gift guides every year for any occasion because the smell is divine and it comes in different designs. You can get gold glitter or holiday red and green.. whatever you think your hostess will like most!
Dainty Champagne Flutes: Ok so use this one with caution. I do think that purchasing stemware for your hostess can be risky. Some people are VERY particular with their stemware and only buy certain pieces for their collection. HOWEVER, know thy hostess! If you think she’d love a unique and dainty set of wine or champagne glasses, I say go for it (start with a set of 4) and these are the ones. So perfect for the holidays and v Instagram-worthy.
Fuzzy EMU Slippers: Alix and I both have these and wear them constantly around the house. They are soft and cozy but go up a size when purchasing for your hostess!
Barefoot Dreams Blanket: I don’t sleep without it. It follows me around the house. And when I have a party, it is neatly and beautifully displayed on my white couch. A gorgeous and very generous hostess gift, in my opinion.
Personalized Coasters: I always love a personalized moment and every woman would love a set of coasters for their dining room or cocktail tables. These would look so cute displayed on a bar cart. The gold and white just give it that holiday touch.
Happy Holidaying!
xx, H
