Home Remodel Update: We’re Done FINALLY

It’s finally done! What should have been a 2 month process took 3x as long.. but so goes construction. I wrote all about what fixtures we picked in this post here. And now we have the finished product. So today I’m sharing some before and after pictures, which are my favorite type of transformations to see. I wanted his bathroom to be moody and masculine but also classic and beautiful

Master bathroom before. No it’s not TERRIBLE but it’s 90s and the island tub needed to go.

The mosaic tile was very popular in the 90s and a bitch to rip up according to the dudes who did it lol

herringbone floor, thick marble countertops (we are just missing some fluted glass for the linen cabinet and shower)

Will likely be a nightmare to upkeep this much marble but it’s worth it in my opinion

This spot is my makeup vanity; just waiting on a stool to arrive

I didn’t get a picture of the guest bath before but here is the finished room

All we had to do here was paint the vanity, new floor, new countertop, paint and fixtures. The shower remained the same.

I am so happy to have our house back and not have people coming in and out all day long. I can finally just enjoy our new and improved spaces and figure out what project comes next 😉 Always something…
