Summer is in full swing and everyone’s schedules are a little chaotic. Summer camps, pool days, picnics and packing everything up for the beach only to last there for 20 minutes. I’m sweating. We are busy with the kid’s schedules so finding “me” time is a touch difficult these days so when Alix and I sat down to write out our June favorites, we didn’t have a ton to share. We’re both actively trying to be conscious about our spending so our favorites this month are some repeats you’ve seen on Instastories or on our feed. Hope you’re enjoying your summer so far and spending quality time with your loved ones.. that is what is most important 🙂 but if we’re honest, we can always find SOMETHING to splurge on!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new jean jacket for a while now. I have this oversized one that I love, but I wanted a one that I could dress up a little more. This Madewell jacket is PERFECT! I can dress it up or down and it fits so well. The wash is great too…it’s a little darker, but not too dark. If you’re in the market for a new jean jacket definitely try this one!
It’s like my two favorite hobbies (wine and exercise) had a chat and made this for me 😉 FitVine wine has no traces of pesticides, molds or arsenic, including glyphosate. It’s lower in sugar and carbohydrates. Here is the breakdown for a 5 oz pour of Sauv Blanc…0.09g of sugar, 114 calories, 2.7g of carbohydrates, 13.4% alcohol. If you’re interested you can read more about their wine making process here. This isn’t sponsored (I WISH!!) I’m just super into it. So far I have tried the Pinot Grigio and the Sauvignon Blanc and I like both. I’ve heard the Rosé is bomb, but I haven’t been able to find it yet. It can be hard to find in stores, but I’ve seen it at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s in Seattle. You can use the Store Locator tab here to find where this wine is sold by you.
I’m loving Fabletics RN! I signed up for their VIP membership to get amazing discounts and you can skip months as often as you want. You skip the first of each month to avoid being charged. It’s worth signing up for the VIP if you buy anything to avoid paying full price. You can also use this link to get 2 pair of leggings for $24. If you buy leggings you must get the pair pictured above. They fit like a glove (I sized down) and are high waisted and pockets on the side. I’ve been wearing these running a lot and they stay in place and I can keep my phone and key in the pockets.
This suit is on MAJOR sale and seriously so dang cute. I’m loving that the sport top is coming back in style (you guys know I’m all about being sporty spice) because it’s so comfortable and gives good covers (not like I have a lot to cover up lol!). I’m sure this print won’t be in style for long, so it’s not worth paying $$$ for an expensive suit for the summer. I’m loving Abercrombie’s swimmie game right now…like how cute is this top for $11!

I have posted about these before on Instastories but not sure I’ve ever highlighted them in a blog post so here we are. I bought these Blue Blocker Glasses a few months back and I somehow shoved them in my laptop bag and lost them for a few weeks so it’s almost like they’re brand new again! Kinda love when that happens. Anywho! Blue blocker glasses will help with eye strain and sleep issues and are effective at blocking out harmful light. If you’re in front of your iPhone or computer often (hi, all of us) these are a must. The style I’m wearing was sold out everywhere but found it in stock on Shopbop. Also love these styles: one | two | three
As most of you know, I have three boys and I’m constantly chasing after them hence why when you see me, I will be in sneakers 9 times out of 10. Athleisure is just what I wear these days.. there is nothing fancy about me when I’m with the kids. These Nike Air Max sneaks are my fave for a few reasons. First, they are stylish and come in a number of colors. I have this pair but love the purple and white and pink and white combo! Secondly, these shoes are cute for everyone in the family so you better believe my boys have this pair and my husband has this pair. I live for a matching moment!
Mac Lipstick (ok so the pictured lipstick below was limited edition and no longer available but I am linking the closest color to it and it honestly looks the exact same because I have it too!) + NYX Lip Pencil + NYX Gloss
Some people think they can’t pull off a lip pencil + lipstick combo and to that I say WRONG. I’m not suggesting you over-line your lips with a dark color and fill in with a lighter color like I did in high school (whyyyyy) but something way more subtle than that. I typically line my lips and then color in with the same lip pencil so my entire lip is that color and then I top it with this lipstick and gloss. It lasts 2x longer this way! It’s my go to combo and everyday neutral makeup look. See how it all comes together here:
Crate and Barrel Red Wine Glasses
I’m a sucker for a trendy wine glass and these caught my eye instantly. At only $13 a piece, I recently traded out some old wine glasses for 8 of these and loved them so much I got the champagne flutes too. I’m not a white wine drinker but eventually, I will probably get the entire set so everything matches in my cabinet. I also have this set because they are the same glasses Olivia Pope drank out of in Scandal but they aren’t great if you’re hosting a party because the stem is SOOOOO long. Like, instantly breakable. So I keep those for myself when I’m having an Olivia moment.
We are so excited for July and what this month will bring! First up: The Nordstrom Anniversary sale, which opens for cardholders on July 12th. Get ready for ALL the picks and posts!
