Happy July friends! It’s the start of a new month which means it’s time to do my monthly grocery store finds round-up. I have a couple of fun June finds I’m excited to share with you guys!
Clif Bar Fruit Smoothie-Tart Cherry Berry Have you tried the nut butter filled Clif Bars? They are so good and Clif Bar came out with these new smoothie berry flavors. I picked up this new flavor at the Rock & Roll Half Marathon pre-race expo. There is also a Strawberry Banana and Wild Blueberry Acai flavors which I didn’t try, but this cherry flavor is 100!
Trader Joe’s Just Beet Chips I spotted these a few weeks ago during my weekly Traders run and thought they would make a good afternoon snack with hummus- and I was right! Solo they are eh, but dipped in hummus they were delish. Warning…if you’re not familiar with what happens when you go to the bathroom a day or so after eating beets I’ll fill you in. It’s all red…don’t be alarmed 😉
Trader Joes Kale Chips Clearly I’ve been looking to up my snack game and decided to also try these. I love making my own kale chips, but don’t always have the time and/or energy. These have a good dose or fat and protein from the cashews and tahini, so make a great snack option. The flavor is great. My only issue with kale chips is how much gets stuck in my teeth! So don’t bring for a first date snack and you’re good!
RX Nut Butter My favorite find of the month for sure! RX came out with nut butter packets and you know I had to test them out! These are so dang good, but I’m not a big nut butter in a packet fan. Great for travel yes, but I swear I’m like liking the inside of it making sure I got every last drop…real cute. I’m hoping they come out wth jars, but in the meantime the vanilla almond butter is life changing good. I’m not over exaggerating. Not sponsored (I wish)- ordered here asap and thank me later.
Trader Joe’s Unsweetened Almond, Cashew, Macadamia Nut Milk meh. This product had so much potential…but it was a bust in my book. It did not have much flavor and was pretty watered down tasting. It was perfectly fine as a base for a smoothie, but with cereal or oatmeal it wasn’t satisfying. I tried it in my coffee one morning and got kind of clumpy- so pass!
Coconut Cold Brew This is not a new product, but since the weather has been heating up, I’ve started to buy this again. Last spring Starbucks had a coconut cold brew drink that I ordered on repeat all spring and summer long, but they didn’t bring it back this year 🙁 This is seriously just as good though! I like to pour it over ice with suggested water amount… then add some of my homemade almond milk and a splash of chai concentrate. It makes a great afternoon pick me up!
Daily Harvest Sundae Sorry to end on a bad note, but this just totally disappointed me tonight. If you watch our Instagram stories you saw me post about this already…I heard their dessert weren’t the best, but I thought I would order one anyways. it just didn’t do the trick for me for a dessert. As a smoothie it would have been totally fine, but it wasn’t dessert. You know I’m obsessed with their smoothies, so I’ll just stick to ordering those for now. Here’s my link for 3 free cups 😉
That’s all I’ve got for this month! As always, please share your good grocery finds with me too!
