Amazon Finds
I just got this buffalo check doormat to go under my Target fall doormat (which is on sale!). I recently got kid friendly kitchen knives and cutting board for Quinn to help me out in the kitchen and she’s loving them. I love switching up my apple watch bands and just bought this one in the color fog. They have a million different colors to choose from. I recently got a “boot” for my hydroflask in teal and like the addition of color on my white bottle. The rubber bottom is also nice when you’re setting it down on a counter it doesn’t make a loud sound. Lastly, I’m loving these glycolic acid pads that I use every other night.
Other Fave Recent Purchases + Wish List
I just got these joggers and I’m obsessed…SO so comfortable. Heather’s latest post inspired me to help my husband out and I got him these joggers for weekend wear and he loves. Burgundy/wine is my absolute favorite color in the fall and winter and I found these Adidas and didn’t think twice about buying. I also got the matching scrunchie at Lulu. These white leopard sneakers were on sale and I couldn’t pass them up either.
I’m eyeing this cute puffer vest for fall/winter and it’s on sale. I’m also wanting a new pair of slippers for winter. I’m obsessed with my EMU slippers and want to get another pair. This waffle henley is so perfect and under $40. I’m loving these and these sneakers from DSW. Lastly, I’m already eyeing these new day planners for 2020.
Fave Workouts + Gear
Right now I’m trying to find a good balance with my workouts 5-6 days a week and 1-2 rest/walk days. I’m doing Orange Theory Fitness 2 times a week, Pure Barre or Barre3 1-2 times a week, spin, and yoga the other days. These are my absolute favorite leggings for HIIT, running, and spin, so I’ve been wanting to get another pair…the new camo print are so cute. I’m loving this sports bra for yoga classes and this long sleeve for after class.
Recent Reads + Podcasts + TV
I just finished reading Three Women and thought it was just OK. I had big expectations because of all the hype it’s received. In the beginning I was turned off by the writing style of the author and felt it took away from the story, but I got used to it. The book does pick up and was interesting, but not a big page turner for me. I’m part of a mom’s parenting book club (nerdy huh?!) and just finished listening to No Drama Discipline. I really liked it and plan to try using some of the techniques with Quinn…keeping my chill is the hardest part ha! Now for a fun read… I just started November 9 (anything Colleen Hoover is money!) Heather was obsessed with and finished in like a day! Can’t wait to get into it more. The Lying Room is on my list to read next.
I haven’t had as much time for podcast lately, but I’m always listening to The Skinny Confidential and recently found The Food Trainers Podcast and Healthier Together podcast and I really like both if you’re into health and wellness like me 😉 Right now I’m binge watching New Amersterdam because fun fact I went to high school with Ryan Eggold the main character, so it’s fun to watch and is actually a good show. I’m also loving A Million Little Things and This is Us…clearly I like a good cry lol. My husband and I watched El Camino last weekend and LOVED! Next up for us is Yellowstone which everyone seems to be watching and loving.
Eating + Drinking
I’ve been making these eggs cups and paleo granola or this clean granola on Sundays so I have breakfast for the week. Last week I made stuffed bell peppers for dinner that were a hit then had leftovers for taco salad the next night. On Sundays I’m cutting up my veggies and using these containers to keep them fresh during the week and dipping in hummus for a quick and healthy afternoon snack. I plan to make PSL bites and pumpkin turkey chili next week!
