Quinn is settling into Kindergarten and we are easing into a nice fall routine. Our weekends are pretty chill right now because it’s just hard with Kinsley to plan a lot, but honestly I’m a homebody and enjoy not having a lot to do on the weekends but workout, grocery shop, cook, watch football, family walks, etc. Here is a little peek into what I’m currently watching, reading, wearing, and cooking.
I’m currently reading (very slowly) The Sanatorium. I’m not very far into the book yet, but I’ve heard good things.
I just finished listening to The Therapist on Audible and loved it!! I just started The Stranger in the Mirror and enjoying it so far. I typically listen while Kins and I take our daily walks. I also have One by One, The Perfect Ruin, and Beneath a Scarlett Sky on my list.
My husband and I are currently watching Clickbait on Netflix together and I’m watching my trash TV of Bachelor in Paradise, 9 Perfect Strangers, and The Real House Wives of SLC. I just started Dancing with the Stars this week (I’ve honestly never watched this show before) to watch Cody and immediately got invested because it’s actually a really good cast.
The mornings have been cooler and I have been throwing on this full zip hoodie or this half-zip sweatshirt with leggings most mornings to walk Quinn to the school bus. I’m also obsessed with this tank I just got in 2 colors from Athleta.
In the evenings I’m so tired and Kins is the most fussy, so cooking dinner has been a struggle TBH. We’ve been ordering a lot of Green Chef…with the ingredients ready to go and a recipe to follow my husband has been stepping up and making these meals for us. Do you guys have any healthier meal delivery kit recommendations?
I’ve also been drinking a Daily Harvest smoothie most days for either breakfast or lunch. I add frozen spinach, protein powder, and ground flax to make it a complete meal and love drinking it out of this tumbler.
I’m seriously always starving breastfeeding, so I’m kind of a snack monster right now. I’ve been getting a lot of my snacks and supplements delivered via Thrive Market. My favorite snacks right now are the Quinn PB filled pretzels, LesserEvil paleo puffs and popcorn, Siete chips, Simple Mills crackers, and Hu chocolate covered goji berries.
I’m looking forward to starting to make some more fall recipes like this pumpkin overnight oats, this gluten-free pumpkin bread, this pumpkin chili sounds bomb, or this minestrone soup if pumpkin isn’t your jam. Also this one-pot chicken enchilada rice recipe sounds so good for dinner one night.
xx, A
