We have been blessed with some beautiful weather here in the PNW over the last couple of weeks and it has me so excited for summer with our family and friends. We find ourselves outside all day long, off screens, socializing, and truly enjoying the season. Right now, we are in the thick of baseball and golf season but we have found time to hang with friends, relax, and try and slow down. Sharing snaps from recent days:
All three boys had something special planned on Mother’s Day at school so I spent the morning rotating between all of their classrooms being spoiled by them.
My original outfit but it got so hot this day. So I changed…
… into shorts halfway through the day.
Sunglasses \\ Blazer \\ Shorts \\ Slides (similar)
Jackson is 8 going on 18 and I am trying to bottle up these moments because he’s already showing glimpses of being “too cool” for me. But he let me take a photo so that’s a win.
Cammy is 6 and an actual angel on earth. I’ve said it before but he is the perfect age.. he’s my most easy-going, sweet, funny boy. He had a few rough days in kinder this year but in recent months his teacher has sung his praises and is so proud of him. He’s ready for 1st grade 🙂
Parker is 4 and terrifying ask anyone who knows him but he has his very sweet moments in between being the most willful child out there. But he sang me a song, drew me a picture, and shared his croissant with me on Mother’s Day and that is the best gift. But don’t let that innocent smile fool you 😉
Neutral Layers on repeat: Sweater (I sized up to L) \\ Pants
Linen Pant \\ Sunglasses \\ Striped Sweater
Cammy stayed home ”sick” from school one day so we had the day to ourselves just us two. You can tell how sick he was feeling by the color of this drink.
We’ve been spending lots of time in the hot tub.. We spend most Sunday mornings in there with our coffee and Parky always makes his way in
I’m playing lots of pickleball right now with some moms from school and it’s so addicting and fun. We got a coach to teach us some techniques and then we play each other afterwards. I even had all of them over for a couples pickleball party and my gf and I beat our husbands. Crushed. Even if Britt played one-handed and her husband had never picked up racket we don’t talk about that part. We won fair and square.
My outfit for said pickleball party: sports bra \\ skort (and people always ask me about my black aviators and it’s a funny story. They are from a Kohl’s in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin where we go every summer and they are plastic lol but here are some similar ones)
My friend who came to the pickle party used to have her own business making charcuterie boards and dessert platters for events. I told her she is invited to every party of mine from now on.. look how gorgeous!
After the pickleball party was Mother’s Day and to say I was hurting here is an understatement but WE SHOW UP!!! My dress is so old (linked similar) and my blazer is Zara but linked a similar one here
After Mother’s Day brunch, we hopped on the boat for the first time this year (Cammy helped my husband shine her up after being stored all winter)
Jack is old enough and responsible enough to tool us around the lake and it’s amazing. He’ll have his boaters license in no time 😉
The lake was 60 degrees but felt 40.. of course the kids didn’t care.. they swam and tubed for hours. And I jumped in cuz it felt like a cold plunge 🙂
Baseball Saturday’s have taken over with all three boys in little league. Usually in some form of the above
Cardigan \\ Tank \\ Jeans \\ Sunglasses
He is a terror at baseball and asks a million times to leave but when we get home he says he had the funnest day ever so the emotional rollercoaster is WILD and I want off the ride.
The beauty of having three boys.. they go off to baseball games or golf and I get at least four hours of silence and freedom.. have fun byeeeeeee you little monsters love you so much
Our outdoor living space is the most used this time of year and we hang, watch sports, sip drinks and have neighbors over while the kids run wild.
Striped shirt (similar) \\ shorts
The end.. more neutral outfits to come 😉
