Hi guys! I realized my camera roll was getting full and I needed to save my pictures to my computer.. so why not dump them all here and do a post dedicated to the everyday happenings of my little world?! It’s a random post.. but I swear those always turn out the best. Here’s what’s been going on:
Pumpkin Patchin’: We’ve been to the patch three times now and I think we’re good for the next 365 days ha 😉 Let’s just say we made the memories! Check, check and check.
Not sure how he’s going to hold all three next year 🙂 And I just can’t resist a matching moment.. flannels all fall long! All of the boy’s outfits, including Britt’s, are from Gap
Snuck in a selfie, which he LOVES can’t you tell, while the boys jumped in the bounce house like crazies
And Britt didn’t want to come to the patch (since we had been multiple times already).. but look at him living his best life
This kid never met a ball (or ball sized pumpkin) he didn’t want to chuck across a field. All boy 😉
He carried this one all the way out of the field by himself.. so we took it home
The rule is: if you can’t carry it, you can’t bring it home.. so he got Britt to carry it.. see below #smarty
Until next year..
Friday Day Dates with my dudes: A lot of you have asked how often the boys go to “school” or how often I have “help” during the week. It’s cool.. I’m nosy too 😉 Even though I’m a stay-at-home mom, my boys have always thrived in a school type setting and need/crave that socialization outside of what I can give them (in my opinion). As babies, we did all of the mommy/me classes, Little Gym, library dates, walks, parks, etc. We did the things. We bonded. But now that they’re older, they love hangin’ with their buddies at school and learning from professionals. The second Jackson went to school (since I went back to work), I swear he instantly came home smarter than me lol.. so I felt the need to do the same with Cam as he’s gotten older. And guess what.. the first day he went to “school” is the day he WALKED.. at 19 months old. That was all I needed to know that he thrived in that setting.
Jackson goes to school Monday-Thursday 9 am to 1 pm and Cameron goes Tuesday-Thursday 9-1 pm. So on the three days that I am kid free for a few hours, I get all of my errands done, prepare for the baby, clean, grocery shop, meal prep, laundry, go to my doctor appointments, get my nails done, work on the blog, workout, live my LIFE. But on Monday’s, Cammy and I do our thing together and on Friday, all three of us explore new parks and pal around town doing the fun stuff. And the boys get that one-on-one time with me and each other.
Cameron wants (has) to do everything Jackson does. Climb up onto the biggest rock: check
They’ve started to rough house and self-entertain so well. Their bond is friggin CUTE!
But by Friday late afternoon, the scene tends to looks like this cuz mama is TIRED and I’m like here, iPad, go! 😉
Prepping for Parker: His nursery is almost done, his clothes are put away, my hospital bag is packed and we have about 5 weeks until we meet him. I feel ready but also unprepared at the same time.. are you ever ready for a baby? NERRPPPPP.
Missing some art work above his crib and maybe some book shelves but otherwise, we at least have a space to bring him home to. His crib and dresser are by Babyletto and can be found at Target, Crate and Barrel, Land of Nod or Pottery Barn. Rocking chair is Pottery Barn Kids (it’s the wingback that they typically have on the floor) and the rest are Home Goods finds cuz I live there 😉
Hospital bag is packed. See my post here.
And by 7:30 pm every night, I’m in bed because chasing after these boys and growing a human is HARD WORK and my back and hip pain is on another level this time around. I don’t usually have lip gloss on, though haha 😉 That was for the ‘gram.
See? Pointless post but wanted to give you a little glimpse into our world! Hope you all have a great week. xx, H
