Happy October….fall is in full swing around here. I’ve definitely been incorporating more fall flavors and all things pumpkin into my cooking and baking. I found a few new products I’ll share with you today, but moving forward I will just be posting these fun finds on our Instagram stories and highlights “food finds” so look out for that!
GT’S Kombucha came out with a “fall edition” kombucha so I figured I would give it a shot. It literally tastes like fall in a bottle. Great flavor, but probably not something I’d drink on the reg. I found this at Trader Joe’s.
Kind Bar came out with a new chewy bar for kids. Quinn just hasn’t been into bars for a while now, but I still bought it because it would make a great toddler on-the-go snack. She takes a bite then is over it, so I end up finishing them and think they taste great! If your little ones likes Quaker chewy bars, this is definitely a better alternative 😉
Pressed Juicery obviously I did not get this at the grocery store, but I was so excited about this new flavor I had to add it in the mix. I was obsessed with Pressed’s coconut water and was in shock when they discontinued it a few months ago. They totally redeemed themselves by bringing coconut water back with an added bonus…coconut cream! It’s seriously so delicious to drink straight up and I also made a smoothie with it. This would also be great in overnight oats or chia seed pudding.
Rx Bar + Perfect Bar both brands came out with their own version of pumpkin spice/pie bars and I love them both. I prefer the Perfect bar if I had to pick, but both make a great protein rich snack. You can also chop them up and add onto granola and yogurt for a quick and easy breakfast! I found these both at Trader Joe’s
Rx Bar came out with another seasonal flavor I had to try. The apple cinnamon was good and matched my leggings so win win, but I think I’ll stick with the pumpkin flavor 😉
Trader Joe’s Smoothie Greens found in the bagged salad section at Trader’s and makes it SO easy to add greens to smoothie. I don’t think I would use this for juicing though…wouldn’t yield a lot of juice per bag, but perfect for smoothies or to top a “bowl” with some greens. I wasn’t able to use the second bag I bought before the expiration date so I froze it and continue to use in smoothies. Great new find!
Primal Kitchen Honey Mustard Dressing I used to be obsessed with the Annie’s honey mustard salad dressing, but it sadly has canola oil in it and as I’m becoming more savvy with my oils that is one I’m cutting back on and upping my avocado oil intake…hello Primal Kitchen. Easy swap and tastes great!
Kevita these drinks contain Stevia which isn’t always my favorite, but sometimes I’m carving a probiotic drink that’s not kombucha and will grab one of these at Whole Foods. I usually stick with my trusty Strawberry Acai Coconut flavor, but was intrigued because…well…watermelon 😉 But let’s just say I love the smell of all things rose, but not the taste.
Philosophie Coconut Butter my sister scooped me on all things Philosophie and this company is so fun. I just got this coconut butter last week and it tastes amazing! I added it to the granola I made and will also be adding into my smoothies and maybe even my coffee…fats for the win!
Alright folks…that is a wrap for grocery store finds monthly series. I love sharing my finds with you guys, so I will continue to do so on Instagram…be sure to follow along. By doing this I’m making space for some new content! As always please send me any nutrition topics you’re interested in learning more about!
