My Favorite Amazon Purchases in 2020

There are a few items I use on repeat and reorder over and over again. Some call it their “empties;” things you would rebuy if you ran out. Below are my top Amazon purchases from 2020 that top the list of my “empties.” I would rebuy any of these items in a heartbeat if I used it all up or lost the actual item, which I hope never happens. Everything is budget friendly, one of the many reasons why Amazon is my favorite place to shop 🙂

Elemis Cleansing Balm: if you’re new here, then maybe you haven’t heard me talk about this cleansing makeup balm yet. If you aren’t new and haven’t tried it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!? Even on days I don’t wear any makeup, grime still builds up and I like to use this cleansing balm to “wash the day off” before cleansing. I come back to Elemis time and time again because it smells like a spa (of course, it works too).. but like a high end, Four Seasons spa right there in your own bathroom. I would eat the balm if it wasn’t toxic lol. Just trust! It’s that good.

The Best Jewelry Cleaner: This is a 4th quarter 2020 purchase that I’m mad I didn’t discover sooner. I have always cleaned my diamonds with Windex and before you come at me, this was recommended to me by my jeweler in LA who designed my ring and who I trust implicitly. Windex WORKS but here’s the thing.. I don’t keep Windex in my bathroom and my rings/jewelry only gets cleaned at very random times (maybe once every couple of months). This diamond cleaner is a pen that you twist and formula comes out that you place directly on your jewels. I was shocked how quickly it worked and how sparkly my pieces were. Truly blinded 😉 It would be a great little gift for someone, too!

Lush Bath Towels: I feel like one of my life’s main missions is to find the perfect, luxe, spa bath towel. I won’t rest until my work here is done! Luckily, Amazon has an AMAZE option.. so WHITE and so soft. I feel like a plain white towel elevates a bathroom to spa, hotel like quality. Ya know?! Crisp and so clean. My favorite. A necessity.

Microfiber Face Towels: Another bathroom staple that I use every single day. I purchased the white but really do love the hot pink.. they just don’t really go with my bathroom vibe 😉 Everyone needs towels specifically for their FACE and no other part of your body. When you get out of the shower and dry off, do NOT use that same towel on your face. GROSS. You nasty. Please, please, please use a clean microfiber face towel every time you get out of the shower or every time you cleanse. No one wants a butthole towel on their face, OK. Sorry, it needs to be said. Get yourself some face towels.

Workout Massage Gun: This is also a newer, 4th quarter purchase in 2020 but wow what a difference it makes in my workout recovery. It has 6 speeds and different attachments to target your muscle groups. I massage before a cycle or run to loosen my muscles and then I like to do it again before bed if they are feeling sore. I originally thought these devices were strictly for serious athletes but I was WRONG. Obviously, no major athlete here (are you shocked) but my muscles appreciate this new routine oh, so much.

Foot Massager: Alix came over on Christmas and we talked about her new foot massager she got and how dreamy it was.. putting her feet up, having this fab contraption massage her feet.. it also has heating technology.. SIGN. ME. UP! I bought it that night while laying in bed wishing my feet were being massaged lol. It has different pressure points (low or high) and the ability to heat. It does need to be plugged in to work so know that before purchasing! Overall, a great little addition to my at home spa I’ve been talking about.

Designer Sunglasses for Less: I love my Ray-bans.. I sure do.. but I also treat my sunglasses like garbage. Just the way I am.. something I should fix but it’s really far down on the list of things I’m working on. So when my Ray-bans get all wonky, crooked, lose a lens, you NAME IT.. here come these “looks for less.” They’re identical minus the logo and sure, they aren’t as “sturdy” but who cares for that price. I love the round and hexagonal shapes.. both majorly popular designs in the department store. While you’re at it, grab two.. one for your purse, one for your car.

Designer Yoga Leggings for Less: ya know those workout leggings we always talk about from that store that starts with an L?! Well, Amazon has them for $24. Buttery soft goodness that make everything right in the world. I have a couple pairs of the black and honestly, I can’t tell a difference between them and my Lulu’s, guys. CRZ Yoga on Amazon is on to something and I feel like you need to buy it quick before SOMEONE finds out how good they are comparatively speaking!

Cropped Athleisurewear: I mean I basically look same, same as the model in the pic 😉 JK.. I know cropped is not for everyone.. me included. But since I wear my leggings so high.. high waisted is the ONLY option, my crops and leggings hit in perfect harmony right by my belly button. And it’s just so COMFY. 2020 was the year of athleisure and 2021 is showing similar promise so STOCK UP!

Designer Mules for Less: Alright.. here’s another one where I’m like HOW DOES AMAZON CARRY THESE? Like, at any point they will be shut down. So RUN. These are identical to the designer that won’t be mentioned because I don’t want to be part of the reason these go away!!

Oversized Knit Sweater: I feel like this sweater saved 2020. You couldn’t scroll insta without one of your fave bloggers shouting their new arrival in black, in grey, in white, in brown FROM THE ROOFTOPS! I have it in white and tan and wore it for family photos. It’s as good as the reviews but size up if you want length around your thighs.. a must for me.

Carhartt Beanies: Have you jumped on this bandwagon yet? Or are you holding out? I know it’s not for everyone but I am a tomboy at heart and Carhartt is a staple for me. I have this men’s beanie in black, grey, white, and brown and next up might be HOT PINK.

Oversized Sweatshirts: Have you ever seen Princess Diana in her athleisure wear walking the streets of London in her Harvard sweatshirt and bike shorts with slouch socks and dad sneakers? She is ICONIC. This look is BACK in the biggest way and while I will never be able to pull off Lady Di, I will die trying. This sweatshirt gives me all the Princess Di 90’s vibes and I got it in a large for the most comfiest fit of your life.

Gold Hoops (I have Yellow Gold 20 mm for a subtle, classic look): Another staple, iconic piece every respectable woman needs in her jewelry box.. in my opinion. A standard, gold hoop. Nothing too large.. I have the smaller version and they look EXPENNNNNSIVE. I get complimented on them all the time and when I say, “AMAZON” women’s eyes light up!
