Alix and I snuck away for a girls weekend in Newport Beach and visited all of the spots that we once took for granted living down in Orange County. Our goal is to spend every first week of January down in SoCal enjoying all the little luxuries this gem of a city has to offer. We stayed at VEA Newport Beach and it is stunning. Located directly across from Fashion Island, it’s slightly dangerous as we did some damage at Nordstrom and Lulu 😉 It has an open air gym with Pelotons and treadmills, a beautiful lap pool that would be so fun to day drink at (wasn’t that kinda trip this time around), and a bar overlooking the ocean and golf course. We had a relaxing stay just binge watching Ginny and Georgia, sipped champs in the hot tub and ate the best food all weekend long. Here is a little recap of our stay:
