Happy November 1st! For those of you who are new followers, every first Friday of the month we do a “Monthly Favorites” post.. so everything we purchased and have been loving the past 31 days. Here’s what stole our hearts in October:

Every year around this time, I load up on my winter sweater game but sometimes, that can take a toll on my bank account. H&M to the rescue! Their sweaters are seriously some of the cutest I’ve found and around $35 a piece. Say what? I got 5 sweaters the other day and the teddy coat and my school drop off outfit is complete.
I’ve only had this cute little pink facial steamer for 2 weeks but it’s making the list for favorites because I love it that much. The dry months bring out the worst in my skin.. just so dehydrated! So I use this contraption 2-3x a week when I’m doing my skincare routine. I typically use it during my nighttime skincare routine to open up my pores to allow my expensive serums to really SEEP IN! I put it on when I’m taking my makeup off and cleansing. I just let it run and let the steam do its thing. It automatically turns off after 10 minutes and then you just rinse the water out. I just had a facial in my bathroom. Easy, peasy lemon squeezey. Oh, and it’s pink. CUTEST!
My husband picked up the Pendleton Weighted blanket at Costco a few weeks back and I couldn’t wait to try it. They say weighted blankets reduce stress and anxiety and help induce relaxation. Ok.. sign me up. I got a twin size/15 lbs and it fits my side of the bed perfectly. So here’s how I layer it in my bed: I have my target flannel sheets on (like how these are only $23 I don’t understand but they’re freaking amazing), then my Nordstrom down comforter (it’s just a must people), followed by my weighted blanket. To top it all off, I never sleep without my Barefoot Dreams blanket so that kind of just lays on top of everything.. so it’s a WHOLE SITUATION but it’s working for me. It took a couple of nights to get used to the weight of the blanket but now I just can’t really imagine sleeping without it. And I get quality, good sleep. Maybe I’m not moving as much? Maybe because I have 100 lbs of blankets on me? Unsure but I LIKE IT.
Not for everyone and I totally get it. But I have found myself scouring my fave sites for the perfect pair of combat boots. Doc Martens are clearly making a comeback but not sure I can pull off that clunky of a pair. Takes a certain individual, you know what I mean? I do like the look of them, though.. so going to try! I’ve seen these Sam Edelman ones on a ton of bloggers and they’re v edgy and cute. But I also just like a plain look like these Vince’s. Either way, you will see me in a pair all winter long.
AirPods Headphone Case that hangs on my Wristlet Keychain
K this might be my favorite of the favorites this month. First and foremost, who doesn’t need a case for their Apple AirPods?! It’s necessary. If you own these expensive little suckers, you know that locating them in your gym bag or purse is like finding a needle in a damn haystack. WHERE ARE THEY!!!! So, I got myself a cute little BURGUNDY case because it’s just so FALL and chic (I’ll get neon in summer.. it’s just not the time right now). It comes with a keychain so you can clip it to your keys or wherever you need! Enter: my MARBLE wristlet keychain! A lot like the one Alix bought a few months back after her scare with Quinn being locked in the car. Now I always have my keys AND AirPods on me. See? Such a favorite!

I have never been a big slipper person until trying EMU slippers. I’m obsessed with them because they are easy to slide on, stay on your feet, so so comfortable and very durable. They took about a week to break in and really mold to my foot and since then have been perfect. I also like the fact that they don’t over heat my feet like more traditional slippers. I currently have the cream color and immediately bought them in pinot noir when I saw the new color! I also really like this style Emu slipper and these would make great gifts for the holidays!
Burgundy Adidas Cloudfoam Sneaker
I’ll continue my love affair with all things burgundy. It’s my favorite color in the fall and winter months and I have a hard time passing up anything made in this color (see pinot noir colored slippers I bought above). I mean I’ll buy a burgundy hair scrunchie, leggings, tops, fleece pullovers, so why not sneakers? The Adidas Cloudfoam are also SUPER comfortable I have another pair of them, so I knew I would love them. They add a fun pop of color when I have a basic workout outfit on. I wouldn’t do HIIT or running in these shoes, but they are perfect for walks or just an athleisure look 😉
I’m having a moment with oversized sweatshirts and leggings. I know this isn’t a “new” look but it’s so comfortable for the colder months and running around with Quinn. I’ve found a few great and very affordable longer/oversized sweatshirts that I have recently been living in.

You guys know Heather and I are both obsessed with out Yeti mugs and drink our coffee out of them every morning. They keep your coffee hot for hours, so you don’t have to keep reheating it in the microwave when your toddler distracts you every 5 seconds and you forget about your beloved coffee. Anywaysssss, as much as I love the mug and still use it on the reg, I felt the need to upgraded to the 30 oz Rambler Tumbler because A) it’s bigger and holds my venti americano perfectly 😉 and B) it fits in my cup holder in my car! I also like the tumbler for cold bevvies with a straw. I got the “harbor pink” color because I have black and white in the mugs and wanted something fun!
Yep. These were a splurge. But I was #influenced and needed them. I’m glad I got them because they are so dang comfortable and you can honestly dress them up a little and leave the house wearing them, or throw on a sweatshirt and your slippers and bum around the house. Other joggers I love right now are the Lululemon Warm Down Jogger, Fleece Lined Joggers (a must for winter!), and these Alo Motto Joggers .
