The days are finally getting longer, the sun is shining and glimpses of Spring are in the air! We’ve been taking advantage of our better weather, getting outside, and keeping busy. Sharing some snaps and outfits from the past few days :) Alix and I met at U Village because I needed to shop for a dress for our school gala as well as my brother’s wedding in San Diego. We got Evergreen salads … [Read more...]

Do we need to get rid of our Stanley water bottles because of possible lead? I hope not! According to Stanley there is lead used to make a pellet on the bottom of the cup thats seals the cups vacuum insulation. No lead comes in contact with the contents into the cup as it’s covered with stainless steel. There would only be an issue with lead exposure if there is damage to the bottom of the … [Read more...]

Pink Pajamas These are the most comfortable pajamas. The material is super lightweight and breathable and they are one sale ;) LED Face MaskMy goal is to wear my mask 3 x week for 20 minutes. I’ll put it on in the evening while stretching. I notice a big difference in my skin when I do this consistently. Reading LightI love my Kindle, but if I’m borrowing a book from a friend or I have a … [Read more...]
My Latest & Greatest From Amazon
Everything I’ve added to cart in the recent weeks ;) One to note is the Mielle rosemary oil that I’ve been using as a scalp treatment on wash day (once a week). There is science to prove that rosemary oil promotes hair growth so I pair it with a scalp massage for at least 10 minutes before washing my hair. You can leave it in for a few hours but I have read that leaving it in overnight can … [Read more...]

H E A T H E R Westman Atelier Illuminator Drops I won’t lie. When I purchased these illuminator drops and picked it up in store at Sephora, I thought they gave me the wrong size. I thought they gave me a travel size. Nope, in fact they are a bit pricey for the size you get and I thought WTF. BUT then I realized a little goes a LONG LONG way. And I’ve since been using it daily mixed with my … [Read more...]
10 Trader Joe’s Snacks I’m Loving as a Registered Dietitian
I think we can all agree that it is SO fun to cruise the Tarder Joe’s aisles stock up on all the unique products they carry. I can be a little picky about what I put in my cart at TJ’s and I’m always checking the ingredients labels. Sure, I throw in some fun things here and there for the kids that don’t check all the nutrition boxes, but for the most part I try to stick to the more simple … [Read more...]
5 Wellness Habits Making Me Feel My Best
Over the past 6 months, I have been extremely regimented/structured/disciplined, whatever you want to call it, in order to get back to feeling my best from the inside out. I am a creature of habit but I also love to travel, try new foods, sip on wine, throw caution to the wind and just LIVE. But there’s really nothing quite like a routine, sleeping well, and feeling GOOD every morning when I wake … [Read more...]

Have you come across an athletic pant that works for casual work days for women? I personally have not tried any of these, but they all look like good options. Heading to Palm Springs for spring break and looking for a few cute new swim suits. My girlfriends and I all have this one (I got mine in Hawaii and it’s such a flattering cut). I also have this top I pair with the bottoms … [Read more...]
5 Lazy Girl Dinner Ideas
While I do enjoy cooking, and preparing well balanced meals for my family, it doesn’t happen every night. I don’t have the time and/or energy to make a recipe nightly, and we definitely have nights when it’s a chopped kitchen situation in our house. And if it’s a night when Ross isn’t home or is eating leftovers I don’t want I will 100% be making a “girl dinner”. “Girl dinner” is a fun … [Read more...]
