With a new season comes new goals and intentions I want to focus on. It’s a good time to check in after a summer of fun, sun and bottomless aperol spritz’s.. so I think there’s no better time to reset + recharge than now. By no means do I do each of the below things every single day but I find that if I write it down and remind myself of the things I want to achieve in order to feel my best I am much more productive and successful in my habit stacking.
+ Meal plan on Sundays + Aim for protein rich meals
+ Get up early to either work out, blog, check emails, drink coffee in silence + before my kids and the chaos that the morning brings
+ Be active 30 minutes a day + strength train + 12k steps a day
+ Drink 80 oz of water + especially first thing in the morning
+ Morning skincare routine + SPF
+ Make the bed + here’s how I make it feel luxe
+ Listen to an educational podcast at least 3x a week: The Skinny Confidential, The Blonde Files, Mind Pump, The Ed Mylett Show, The Genius Life, The Doctor’s Pharmacy
+ Value and maximize alone time with a walk, massage with Meghan Devonport in Ballard, facial @ Sapien Skin, or watch an hour of Bravo 😉
+ Declutter home + closets: purging is my bff and the Goodwill guys know me by name
+ Say no to things you don’t really want to do.. don’t fear the FOMO
+ Cook at home + make it simple + smoothies for on the go
+ Eat dinner at the table and not in front of the TV
+ Stretch daily
+ No phone at least an hour before bed
+ Nightly skincare routine
+ Red light in the bedroom + no damaging blue light that could hinder or disrupt restful sleep
+ Read with my amber light
+ In bed by 9:30 pm (my routine looks very similar to Alix’s here) but I plan to write out my entire nighttime routine for next week’s post
