If you watch our stories, you would have seen that we were accepted to the exclusive rewardStyle club. For those newer to this platform, rewardStyle is the first and largest invitation-only content monetization platform for top-tier influencers and brands around the world. Don’t get it twisted, we know we aren’t a “top-tier influencer” at this point but it’s really exciting that rewardStyle even acknowledged us as having worthy content to share with their audience.
rewardStyle is the platform we will use to allow our followers to shop our Instagram or blog “looks.” By downloading the LIKEtoKNOW.it app, you can follow your favorite bloggers and shop their looks directly from your computer or phone. For most of you, this is nothing new. But just wanted to give you a brief introduction for those who are totally lost. If you know how to work LIKEtoKNOW.it, you can probably stop reading now. For everyone else.. continue on 🙂
We started a blog as a creative outlet with no real expectations. Sure, we wanted to make money on it one day but that comes with time, experience, consistency, drive, patience and passion. We also weren’t entirely sure which direction this blog would go. No, we aren’t a “fashion” blog and don’t just post content to make money on our outfits. We consider The Champagne Theory a “lifestyle” blog where we discuss a range of topics.. and fashion and beauty are included. Also, Instagram is the place where we announce blog content and in doing so, we like to look semi-put together and cute in those pictures! Instagram is the highlight reel and our blog is where we really love to dive deep into topics we’re passionate about.
We often get asked about what we’re wearing or where we purchased something via our Instagram page so the LIKEtoKNOW.it app will be a great resource for those interested in that aspect of our blog. And that is how fashion bloggers make money.. by shopping their looks through this app and by clicking on links within our blog posts. For today’s post, I wanted to direct our readers (you!) to our LIKEtoKNOW.it page so you can follow along.. if that’s something you care about and want to support. How to get started:
Download the LIKEtoKNOW.it app in the App Store: The LIKEtoKNOW.it app allows consumers to shop their screenshots of LIKEtoKNOW.it-enabled images wherever they discover them, including Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and more.
Follow your favorite fashion bloggers within the app.. and hopefully that includes US! Under the SEARCH tool, you can find us by typing in The Champagne Theory under the “Influencer Search” toolbar. Click “FOLLOW” and you’re done. I walk you through how to do this under our LiketoKnow.it highlight on Instagram.
We don’t currently have the “swipe up” feature on Instagram as you need at least 10K followers for that, so in the meantime the best place to find products we’re loving or posting about (besides on the blog) will be in the LTK app.
