We are home from our week in Palm Springs and while it’s always good to sleep in your own bed after vacation, I can’t say I missed the 40 degree Seattle weather. So today I am reminiscing my trip and linking outfit details. And praying for warmer temps in the Pacific Northwest..
We stayed at the Marriott Shadow Ridge Enclave Villas and it was perfect for a family of five. We had our own kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms so we could spread the kids out and not feel like we were on top of each other. Highly recommend!
We spent our days by the pool, ventured to the multiple splash pads, the kids arcade and movie theater and my girlfriend and I even snuck away for a tennis lesson and a spa day at the JW Marriott (another gorgeous hotel in the desert).
We did hire a sitter one night so we could sneak away for an adults only dinner and it was dreamy. We went to The Parker for drinks (coolest speak easy type bar) and then to Workshop Kitchen for dinner. Outfit deets below:
Did you check out our post last week about what we carry in our clear makeup pouches? You better believe I brought mine with me on vacay:
After our days by the pool, we always had our friends + kids over for drinks on the balcony and then headed down to the firepits and BBQs to cook dinner. We tried to go out one night and let’s just say this.. with four adults and 5 kids, it was a disaster #neveragain. So our hotel was perfect because we could grill out and let the kids run like animals without worrying about disturbing other guests.
I attempted a Christmas card photo and wellp, we’ll probably have to recreate it once Summer hits Seattle because we just couldn’t quite get it together lol. This was the best we got.. Cam has perfected the squint because he refuses to wear a hat or glasses. I got our outfits from Marine Layer.
We had such a fun trip that we decided every Spring Break will be spent in Palm Springs going forward. Until next year.. cheers!
