There’s a movement going on over on TikTok called “De-Influencing”.. what does that mean? Well, it’s popular right now to not conform and buy everything everyone is touting. Cuz it’s all the same stuff. And they get paid to advertise it. How about not spending hundreds on viral makeup products when there are identical “dupes” at the drug store? I love a drug store dupe almost as much as I love a Goyard dupe that we can no longer find lol. I’ll admit, I am a high end makeup girly and I have done plenty of posts about the designer makeup in my drawer. I love my Charlotte Tilbury products but I have used a number of the dupes below that are significantly less expensive and apply just like their designer counterpart. And when I run out of my high end makeup, you better believe I will be using the a lot of drug store stuff. Let’s take a closer look…
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray vs. Milani Make It Last Original
Same ingredients. Does the same thing and makes your makeup last all night. I don’t buy the Charlotte version.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream vs. Revolution Miracle Cream
Charlotte’s magic cream is $100 and the Revolution counterpart is a FRACTION of the cost with very similar ingredients. The miracle cream is a bit thinner than Charlotte’s but it blends the exact same. Wild. I just ran out of my magic cream and ordered the miracle cream instead for $20.
Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter vs. ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter
I am ride or die for the flawless filter but it’s hard to find because it’s popular and they are reformulating the product right now. The ELF liquid filter applies just like the flawless filter and blends beautifully. I am still a little mind blown over it. I think I will always buy the flawless filter but if I can’t find it or run out, I have no problem using ELF in its place.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand vs. L’Oréal Lumi or Revolution Bright Light
I use Charlotte’s beauty wand to highlight my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose and both the L’Oréal Lumi and Revolution Bright can be used the same way. The L’Oréal Lumi can be used also as a Flawless Filter dupe and used all over the skin for a glow factor. And the Revolution Bright applies in stick form Ike the light wand. Literally the same thing. I own all three products.
Kosas Concealer vs. ELF Camo concealer
The Kosas concealer went viral on TikTok until ELF Camo came along and took it’s place. I have not purchased Kosas before and only use the ELF version.
Ilia Skin Tint vs. Pixi H20 Skin Tint
I’ve seen so many people using Ilia skin tint (I use the Flawless Filter or ELF Halo glow or L’Oréal Lumi instead) but Pixi’s version is the same. I haven’t tried it yet because I still have so much Flawless Filter, ELF, and L’Oréal Lumi that I don’t need another skin tint that makes me glowy. But Ilia and Pixi are on in the same here. I’m excited to try at some point.
Chanel Healthy Glow Bronzer Cream vs. ELF Putty Bronzer
This one is exciting because it’s CHANEL, people! $50 for a cream bronzer? Ouch. The ELF putty blends soooooo beautifully and buttery. I can’t explain it any better than that. I don’t often say to ditch Chanel. But in this case, DITCH CHANEL and run to Target (like we needed another excuse).
