Weekend Bits - HEATHER + ALIX

It’s so nice to be home after all of our traveling and just be in our everyday life. I thrive in routine and I am a real homebody so it’s been a breath of fresh air getting back into the swing of things. This was our last weekend without any obligations, social events, or sports so we really soaked it up. I was able to sneak away for a yoga class with a girlfriend, go to Home Depot so I could do some planting/gardening, and a solo Target run was the cherry on top. Otherwise, we spent it outside and getting chores done around the house and outside.

The kids brought a friend on the water, we swam, and then all boated to Bluwater Bistro on the lake for dinner

The two big boys had lacrosse tryouts for a club team this weekend so early mornings were spent outside doing drills

Always putting in the work and just so proud of both of them

Met a few girlfriends and their kids at the pool and we lounged and caught up while they swam and ate lunch and caused complete and utter chaos (not pictured)

The jet lag caught up with sweet Parky on Saturday but luckily we’re all back and not waking up at 3 am anymore.

Came home from our travels to our house surrounded by hydrangeas.. my absolute favorite so I cut some to make floral arrangements for around the house

Ended Saturday evening by teaching Parker how to ride a motorcycle and by that I mean he hopped on and took off down the street

Over the past couple of months, I have indulged and barely worked out (besides a ton of walking in London) so it feels so good to get back in the gym. Looking forward to getting stronger and feeling my best again. Lots of walks, Corepower, and weights to get back in shape!

We got all of our patio furniture washed and cleaned since being gone and I planted my pots.. looking forward to all our time being spent out here.. and how is football already on?!

Dropped Cammy at the golf course to play a round of 18 with one of his best school buds.. he came home so jazzed about his score and Britt has never been more proud or excited to have another golf fanatic in the family

Ended the weekend ordering take out with our favorite neighbors across the street while the kids played and rode bikes (my favorite Levi’s from Target are on clearance for under $60)
