The days are finally getting longer, the sun is shining and glimpses of Spring are in the air! We’ve been taking advantage of our better weather, getting outside, and keeping busy. Sharing some snaps and outfits from the past few days 🙂
Alix and I met at U Village because I needed to shop for a dress for our school gala as well as my brother’s wedding in San Diego. We got Evergreen salads and Hello Robin cookies to go, of course. I busted out this old Ralph Lauren coat from years ago but linked an almost identical one here.
Played pickleball and ran errands to prep for Super Bowl Sunday at our house. I just picked up this blazer with a sweatshirt layered in and love the casual look but also elevates my athleisure. I got a medium because I will typically layer it with thicker shirts/sweaters underneath and I appreciate a bit of an oversized look.
I typically wash my hair once a week, on Friday or Saturdays depending on our plans and I’ve been really consistent with masking and oiling prior to wash days. This K18 oil is really powerful so three drops goes a long way (I use it on my ends 3-4x a week). On wash days, I will put this drug store oil on the lower part of my hair (not my scalp) to coat it before it gets wet. Water is really damaging so coating your hair with oil prior to getting in the shower is recommended to protect from breakage. Lastly, this hair mask smells so good and I use it in the shower after I shampoo and before I condition.
I have also been applying rosemary oil to my scalp at least 1x a week (and massaging it for at least 10 minutes) and let it sit in my scalp for about 3 hours prior to washing. There is science to prove that rosemary oil promotes hair growth and strengthening.
Was a good one! Have a great week 🙂
xx, H
