Weekend Snaps

Jackson turned 11 this past weekend and it was a birthday well spent. Alix said that his birthday (March 1) always marks the beginning of brighter days ahead and I couldn’t agree more! We enjoyed the most insanely beautiful weather all weekend long and celebrated with his friends over and over again. Here are some snaps from the weekend:

After school on Friday, J’s school friends came over for a kickball tournament and shenanigans at our house. They spent hours in the cul de sac then I plopped them on the couch for a movie with popcorn and treats until their parents picked them up. He requested a funfetti cake and Nothing Bundt Cakes is our fave.

Sunny lacrosse! We’ve missed this so much and so happy to be back on the field.

Parker got a drone from Santa Claus and has been busy flying it above our neighbors houses and spying on everyone lol.. but mostly the chickens next door 🙂

Decided to sneak away for a quick drink and dinner since it was so sunny and beautiful \\ top || belt || jeans (similar)

Went to the Somm in Woodinville, which has such a cool boutique hotel vibe and a sick rooftop bar. I love the local decor.

Shared a big salad and some apps.. everything was delicious. We’re having dinner at the restaurant below (Bin 47) in a few weeks with friends and I’ve heard amazing things!

Home by 7 and binged Paradise season 2 in my favorite new pajamas

Jackson ad his lifelong besties over for a sleepover and we watched Jurassic Park and let them stay up way too late

Sunday funday for J’s actual bday. We went bowling at Lucky Strike then popped by our friend’s house to sit in the backyard, let the kids run around, and sip champs in the sun. Perfect end to the weekend!

It was such a fun weekend with the kids and friends and I just feel so thankful the positive friendships they’ve all developed over the last couple of years. I always want to make their birthdays special and memorable and hopefully I accomplished that for Jackson. Now, the spring sports season has commenced and our weekends will be full of lacrosse, baseball, golf and flag football. Countdown to summer in WI also starts now.. 🙂
